I'm at a loss here....

I told Sixers via PM that I would give all the points I had at the time, which was about 430. And I asked what the most he was offered was and he said over 900. Then he goes and trades it for less than what I offered?!!??

$325 for a #8 pick ???????????

so either somebody is doing someone a BIIIIG favor here, for whatever reason

or

bods promised to send all GM points he'll aquire over the next 15 seasons to the 76ers. That should sum up to around 900 then ...

I am also at a loss. No offense to the Sixers, but I don't see them making a (miraculous) jump out of the lotto next season. The pick has to be worth more than that -- there must be something else to this trade.

how does this make any sense?

a first rounder, especially one with this much value is worth way more than this. This trade is ridiculous.

Everyone should take a second look at recent bank transactions.

can?t understand why he let you scout the pot instead of getting the full money instead. this makes no sense to me.

I am with the Nuggets on this one.  I was told it would cost over $900 for the pick.  Or that he wanted a player + $500-600.  No matter what recent cash he spent it looks seriously fishy.

He needed the pots before the sim was run.  If I just gave him the money, he wouldn't be able to spend it until after the sim was run, and thus couldn't use the money to get pots on players for his 8th and 10th picks.  So I bought 3 pots for him, gave him the pots, then gave him the remainder of my money.

He essentially got $925 for the pick.  he just used $600 of it today so he could use it before his picks were run.

so why do the Sixers offer the picks then ?

costly stuff, losing a future lottery pick AND not getting anything now !
