You're out of your mind. Rules change every year. We learn every year. This would not be the first time a rule has changed. In fact, I think we should officially put it to vote. Let the league decide.
Isn't that what this poll is about?

Isn't that what this poll is about? Not really. This asks about the entire offseason (resignings, draft, fa). The idea was brought up earlier in the thread about just draft/resignings having intervention. I think it's a good idea and one that could be brought up for a vote. The proposal I just made is a little more specific, so it's a little easier to vote on. This one had virtually 0 turnout (7 GM's voted).

Yes. But after this draft. Not now. This completely contradicts: Face it, without CPU you wouldn't be having a future all star PF and Hornets would've won a title without their dream PG. So, same scenarios & opportunity for everyone please.
As i said, this isn't even about player X or Y (since there's isn't a much diference beetwen a scrub like Ewing or scrub like Benjamin). It's the matter of principal. That.

I was just playing a little devil's advocate.

damn, i just discovered that Ewing won't drop to my 2nd round pick, even if i'm entitled to pick for the whole 1st round. There goes my primary offseason plan ...

Wasn't ignored at all. I've answered them all. "same scenarios and opportunities for everyone" is bull, otherwise the league would never change, and never approve. Really? How come commishes made the picks few years ago but allowed the CPU to make the pick last year?! That's just wrong. That's never been the rule.

It's good to see that I've been gone for 2 seasons yet the constant bickering between Bods and Ivan hasn't changed... and another thing that hasn't changed is my complete inability to follow any of the asinine things you guys argue about

Sure, sure. But you weren't worried much about "we want to ensure that the fate of the team is not decided by a computer's bad draft pick" when you had a lotto pick last year.

If it will help I'll trade the #26 pick for the #2 pick...then no one will complain about who the computer chooses.

We've never been in that position until last year. Like I said, rules are constantly being revised.. We didn't know the computer was going to be as pitiful as he was at drafting. (BTW, this was a proposal from SpursGM, not me. So I'm not sure how "you didn't care last year" is a valid argument).

That isn´t true. we knew how awful the cpu picks are. i remember that you even warned all gms not to let the cpu pick for them because cpu is really bad. One reason that the lakers are so bad is imo that they wasted several top 5 picks because they never send a draft list.

But you weren't worried much about "we want to ensure that the fate of the team is not decided by a computer's bad draft pick" when you had a lotto pick last year. maybe he had high hopes last year to get a good pick but the biggest winner by the cpu decision wasn´t the pistons. it was the heat without a doubt. and i understand your point of view. but i have the same situation since i could pick a better guy at 9 if i allow cpu picks for this draft. In fact i am for the commitee idea even if that means that i loose the chance to get a better player. Only real problem could occur if we can´t find gms for these teams. several talented players would be out of the game and wasted imo. Just look at magic for example who wasn´t used at all the last 2 seasons.
