I thing Del NEgro is a better propsect than Terpening.

B- B- D+ B- C- A -Del Negro (6'7, 254)

 B- B- C+ B+ C D Terpening (6'7, 227)

Same scoring, and Terpening is a better handler of the ball, and a slightly better defender and rebounder....with D potential. While Del Negro has A potential. And the body builds are different too.

Terpening is five grades ahead of Del Negro. He will not improve that much.

Actually he's 6, but 3 of those grades are in ballhandling (with 2 in defense and 1 in rebounding)

It really depends on your team.  If you have a team with a great pg and an inside presence, you're not going to need your sf to create.  Thus, you may go with Del Negro, who's probably going to end up the better scorer and possibly equal defender.

I think he will improve enough in defense to make it worthwhile.

But then again, I'm not targetting a SF, so I don't care Smile

Other first round picks:

SG Thor Archibald: Good potential and defense. Shouldn't slip past the first round. Has the size to play the 2.

SF Lavar Piatkowski: Pretty well same as Archibald, but different position.

PF Ivan Litwick: Good rebounder at 6'10. Could be bigger though.

PG Cody Newman: 3 B ratings make him very decent.

PG Troy Havlicek: Earl Boykins II. 193 pounds as a 5'6 guy is HUGE. Me must be very muscular.

PG Eddie Crotty: A- defender. All around decent.

C Billy Cunningham: Defense and Rebounding off the bench, anyone?

193 pounds for someone 5'6" is crazy. Quentin Griffin is 5'7" 195 but he is a running back. For a PG, though, that would be a little awkward.

Yeah, he still is one of the top 4 to 6 point guards in the draft. Besides, I'm not sure if height and weight even matter in here.

I know for a fact it does for frontcourt players.

For the last time, this isn't the nba.  You need to deal with it.  The league will be flooded with fictional players from this point on.  If you can't accept that, there's no point in playing.

I agree taht Petit is the best rated player but SG's are more likely to come along than a 7'4 301 center

I agree.  You just CAN'T pass up a 7'4" 300 lb center with those skills.    Ab-so-lutely can't.  He should put up 24/12/3 right off the bat.

I mean, I've got Boozer and Okafor, both 20/10 guys, right now at pf and center.  I get the first pick and I don't think twice about who I'm taking.

The guy could have a D potential and he'd be a no-brainer #1 pick.  Top if off with an A potential?  You have to be stupid to pass.

He's one of the best prospects I've seen come out in one of these drafts in a while.  To put it in perspective, Yi Jianlian was a 7'2" center in the 2005 draft of our old league, and was the #1 pick that year.  His ratings were B   inside,  B defense, C+ rebounding, A potential.  Worse inside and worse on defense.

I just hope I can land one of the top 3 C's. They are all 20/10 guys.
