...
TMac can go off sometimes? Wow.
After Dirk, the guy is probably the best scorer in the game and all that playin along another 30ppg player (Hoffa). Curently, he's at 31ppg, without Hoffa, i think he would be somewhere around 33.
I am talking about taking it to the next level here. Stepping up when it counts. Take one example, last playoffs. You both lost to the Clippers, with Dirk matching up with Elton and TMac with Maggette. So what happened? TMac got 27ppg on 42% shooting (down from season avg of 29/48%) while allowing Maggette to score more (+1ppg), on 45% shooting (down from 46%), rebound more (+1rpg) and pass more (+2apg) Dirk scored 32ppg (2ppg less than season avg) on 46% (down from 47%) but held Elton to 5.5 fewer ppg on 43% shooting (down big from 50%) TMac is a good player, no doubt. A great scorer (but still held below 20ppg far too often, and that on a team where only he and Hoffa get the ball 90% of the time) but an average defender at best (there's a reason you see guys like Pettit beaming of joy when TMac awaits.) but he's not in Dirk's class ... First of all, it's not ONLY cause of Maggete (whos very underrated defender btw), you seems to forgot that the Clips are one of the best defensive teams in the league, 27ppg is still a major feat for any player against the Clips. Pettit? Are you kidding me? Tmac owns him everytime they meat! Only the last time Nets beat the hell out of me and Pettit scored more pts while shutting down Mcgrady. I have no idea what are you talking about.

Kings, there is no possible way that Tmac is better than Petit...and if you didn't do the Dirk for Tmac swap, then that was probably the worst move you've ever made.

I'm talking about head to head matchups. Not overall carrer and ratings (although i find even that very questionable. Pettis is better defender but Tmac is probably a better scorer and doesn't produce that many TO's). And yeah, i refused to trade him for Dirk.

To be fair, after Dirk's first year with the Sonics, I didn't expect him to keep it up. He had scored 24 ppg the year before. Somehow, at the age of 28 Dirk was a 24 ppg scorer. At the age of 32 he's a 37 ppg scorer.

Again, I'm going to stick up for Kings here.
How many offensive rebounds and easy scoring opportunities does TMac create for Hoffa?
I mean, Araujo is having his best 2-year stint of his career and is the best 2nd-option (offensively, not all-around) in the league.

Actually i have him as 1st option with Mcgrady being the second. And as a 2nd option he's at 31ppg which also makes you wonder what's this guy capable of.

Yes. But he's also playing 5 minutes per game more for then Hoffa.
Hoffa is 34 while Tmac is at 39mpg.

In other news, Mcgrady was just sick, scoring 36ppg. 38 and 47pts against Lebron, 44 against the Rockets and 36 and 10asists against the Suns.
.
Sounds like an average sim for Dirk I could have had him you know...Sonics offered me (i think this is not against the rules cause it pretty much doesn't matter anymore) Dirk for Tracy straight up week before you grabbed him. I declined cause i want to win with Tmac. I offered you Dirk for Tmac trade in like season two.

Clippers are in cruise control. Nothing really spectacular is going on, but they know how to handle things. (Kind of like the Bulls in 92-93) Big game this sim was the one @ Warriors. Lost by 2. Lost this game in fouls and free throws. Kwame has a bruised jaw and was out for 4.5 games. Harrington got his starting spot and he did great. Harrington is of great help. He just fouls like a madman! Maggette is having a career year. His scoring and rebounding is at the highest point til now. I am very happy with Tayshaun Prince as a backup. He shoots the ball very well and plays good D.

Now I am curious. In what 'wrong' way did you use him back then? You should have gotten Larry Brown to make him play the right way!

I went with inside scoring back then, I guess he doesn't like contact and prefer to go outside or he pulled a Vince Carter on me and want to get out of Dallas.
