wow....wow.
congrats raptors. Sorry for being on the wrong end of a 1 pt game 7 loss. I know how it feels.
Talk about a near collapse. I had a 9 pt lead heading into the 4th quarter. I won by 1.
Ultimately, I think the two far and away best eastern conference teams throughout the season are in the ecf.
I'm prepared to get obliterated. Great series Bods. I cannot belive how well my tem played throught the playoffs. I'm really not mad at all - wasn't even expecting to make the playoffs. Yao was phenomenal - he played out of his mind. Gonna have this team back next year with the addition of 2 lotto picks.

Well all I can say is that Dirk bent Kirilenko over and that was that.

As am I. It's really a coin toss I think. This might sound cheesey, but I am just hoping for a good series that's not marred by an injury. Losing a tight conference finals would not be a huge disappointment, getting blown out would though.

I don't think there were too many options the Kings had for their DC but on the other hand the timetable is the same for some seasons now. Daily sims during the playoffs. Congratulatrions to the Nets on a tight one and the Hornets (who handled the Cavs exactly like I believed i would - with Billups, letting the Vince's go off on occasions but clamping down defensively on the rest otherwise). Will be a great series of the best teams in the East. And also props to Clips and Sonics, the leaders out west. Will be interesting to see if the Clippers learned anything from last years debacle. They are entering as top seed with home court again but sure will look for a different ending ...

It's not like the schedule hasn't been up since October 7th. Do you want a pm before every sim how bout the player extensions? Coming within the next 24 hours.

Wow, what an excelelnt playoffs so far.
First, congrats to the Kings on a good series. I was glad to just win a couple games against you, McGrady and that incredible team rebounding of yours are really tough.
Sonics are making their late run (shades of the Jazz championship runs), and facing the West's most domiannt team for years, the Clippers.
Hornets and Nets, a great, great series. Great offense and great defense on both teams. Pettit vs Marion and Emeka vs Wallace are primetime matchups, as well as little Boykins vs too-tall Livingston.

I really think my lineup changes (I made Battier my backup SG to try to get size on Marion) really helped. I was considering putting Pettit at SF and Battier at SG so Pettit would have been on a bad defender, but I thought that was too drastic. Outside of 1 game Marion was held in managable form, and that helped.
Okafor was comparatively dreadful though. That Ben Wallace guy isn't bad.
And...um...shoot. Had to be the sonics. I swear I would have rather lost in the playoffs than lose another finals. 2nd straight year of Nets/Sonics. Hope it's better than last.

Well, Marion simply couldn't contain Petit, and Petit held Marion in check. I really thought the two would neutralize eachother. It was Okafor that I was really worried about, but that turned out to be unfounded. The game 6 blowout stung quite a bit, I must say . I think homecourt was pretty big in the series. Well, good luck in the finals Nets, I think this is your year

If you really made battier your backup SG - he never played there. I checked the mins and he played all at SF with jamison taking the rest. Salmons took all the backup mins at pg and SG. Your injury to Brad Miller really was a no factor maybe even a plus since jamison had some solid games at pf.

If you really made battier your backup SG - he never played there. I checked the mins and he played all at SF with jamison taking the rest. Where do you see a minute by minute positional breakdown? If you're simply talking about the position listed in the boxscore, all that shows is the position he was at the FIRST time he entered the game. Which makes sense, since he started the game at SF. My DC looked like this: SF: Battier, Jamison, Jamison SG: Pettit, Battier, Pettit PG: Boykins, Salmons, Boykins.
