I lost the 1st game of the series against the Magic, but took the next 4. The last two games were very close. Game 4 went into OT and game 5 was a come from behind victory in the 4th quarter. Not exactly a dominant performance, but still, I can't be upset with a 4-1 series win.
Good series Magic.

you too. good luck on the next round

Just a quick take:

Pretty disappointing performance from the Celtics. Playing defense for only one game doesn't cut it. Giving up 113ppg apart form game2 is a slap in the face for my self-proclaimed top-defenders.

But there might have been a different ending to this series if not for a strange incident in game 4. Chauncey Billups was supposed to be back for game 4 (after missing 5 days), yet he was nowhere to be seen (and consequently i enjoyed a narrow defeat with PG Chamberlain going off).

Weel, good luck Cavs, if you take apart the Hornets defense like you did it to me you've got every chance to advance.

Still ...  Confused

4-2 W. Nice, nothing special. Mcgrady was a lil non constant but it's understandble since Kobe is a pretty good defender. And Danny Fosrtson is the man, had a pretty awesome serie.

Congrats to Warriors on a good round.

Celtics, Billups was definitely listed as being out for 6 days, not 5. But a well played series on your part regardless. You came relatively close each game, but my team just showed what they are truly made of offensively against a very good defense. Now, going up against the Hornets, the best defense in the league, will be an extremely difficult challenge. I'm certainly not expecting to win, but anything can happen...

So, here's more in-depth analysis:

Am I shocked? No. Disappointed, yes, as a pretty fine season went down the drain in an injury-riddled finish, but it was hardly a surprise to me. I knew of the Cavs firepower - and as I can confess now I NEVER understood why they moved away from the Vince&Vince setup putting Keogan as backup (sure it would kill them sometimes, but overall this is a great offensive 1-2 punch to cause any opponent trouble) - and I knew that my defense alone might not be enough to succeed.

And that's exactly what happened. I couldn't contain the Cavs on defense - with Ginobili overmatched helping out Lenard AND Kidd - and Parker Kidd - who gave all he could - too inexperienced to run my offense with the necessary fluidity as well as no offensive thread himself at all. Chauncey came back and got 31ppg/8apg in 2 games, Parker got 11ppg/6apg in the games he started. That's 20ppg and better defense i was missing sorely.

Would i make something different now?
What? Mihm might be a tad better shooting but no playmaker either. I made a risky move before the deadline, giving up my backup PGs (both) for some swingmen depth, so Chauncey going down left me with a black hole at about the only position where i was pretty much zero deep. And the most important position at that too.

Call that an bad investment as things developed now, but i'd do it again. So we'll look ahead to next year ...

wow....wow.

congrats raptors.  Sorry for being on the wrong end of a 1 pt game 7 loss.  I know how it feels.

Talk about a near collapse.  I had a 9 pt lead heading into the 4th quarter.  I won by 1.

Ultimately, I think the two far and away best eastern conference teams throughout the season are in the ecf.

I'm prepared to get obliterated.

Well, I'm happy that my team was able to take 1 game. It's alright knowing that I lost to a team that is far superior. Now, draft time...
