Can't wait to see how Yao can handle Shaq, and if Marion abuses me until/when Peja comes back.

I'm hoping to win, but this is the best 8th seed we will EVER have in the Hornets.

Any idea what time it will be simmed, Bods?

i think the raptors can beat the hornets easily....raptors has more complete players.....baron can take over and mihm can provide a spark...only problem on the raptors is when oneal becomes hot and dominating...marion doesnt score much....but is a great defender....he wont be able to defend peja because his out of 3 dyas ehehehe.... Thanks for the vote of confidence, Heat. I honesly think that Yao is the better center, so I should be able to win that battle.

But Marion doesn't score much? 23ppg, my man. Smile That has me seriously worried. I will be in very tough without Peja those first 3 days. Hopefully there is an off day in there so it will only be 2 games.

Hopefully, I can take advantage of Earl Boykins' 4 day absence and take the Nuggets in 6.

Bad News.  I found out as I was entering the depth charts, I can NOT change the IL after the 12th sim.

So, the IL on your sim 12 dc's are your IL's for the playoffs.  There's just no way around that.

Yeah.  Me too.  I was up 3-0 then lost 3 in a row.  Scary.

TD drops 55/13 in game 7 to boot.

Wow, Hornets, GREAT SERIES.

A little recap:

Game 1: Raptors 91 Hornets 83 - Yao's 25 points, 17 rebounds picked up the slack with no Peja. Chris Mihm was player of the game with 21 points on 7-10 shooting, 10 rebounds. Held Shaq to just 6 of 21 shooting, and GERALD WALLACE held Marion to 6 of 24 shooting.

Game 2: Raptors 93 Hornets 72 - Again abused Shaq as he went 8-28. Yao was amazing with 26 points and 19 rebounds, 7 assists, 6 blocks. What a game for him. Davis had a triple double with 16 points, 11 assists, 11 rebounds.

Game 3: Hornets 98 Raptors 97 - Lost by one point, as Hornets make up a 7 point deficiet to start the 4th Q. Peja comes back, and therefore Marion has a great game. Davis was the player of the game with 18 points and 18 assists.

Game 4: Hornets 88 Raptors 86 - Damn, this time a 2 point loss. Marion DOMINATES Peja with 45 points (16-23), 11 rebounds, 6 steals, 3 blocks. Shizzam.

Game 5: Raptors 122 Hornets 87 - Back to T-Dot we go, and of course a whole different story. Yao and Peja combine to score 79 POINTS and grab 28 REBOUNDS. That is amazing.

Game 6: Hornets 107 Raptors 102 - Back to N'awlins, and back to the Hornets' dominance at home. Marion scores 36 to match Peja's 39. Only good game Shaw has had so far.

Game 7: Raptors 87 Hornets 76: In the decisive game 7, the Raptors cruise to an easy victory. Up 20 to open the 4th Q. Yao had 21 and 17 to pace us. Great win.

So, the home team wins every game. Nets, you asked earlier what benefit you and I got for finishing one and two (because of the teams we had to face), and that benefit for me was clearly homecourt advantage.

I was very, very surprised to keep Shaq in check (He averaged like 18 and 12). Marion was the guy that killed me, as expected.

Looking at the Playoff Leaders - Peja is 3rd in PPG with 31, Yao is 7th with 28.6. Yao 4th in rebounds with 14.7 per. Baron EASILY leads the assists per game with 13.4. What a series he had. Yao blocked an average of 4 SHAQ SHOTS per game.

Looking forward to the 2nd round matchup with the Magic, who survived the Wiz in 7. THe season series was 2-1 Raptors.
