DeClerq can't be traded until day 101, which is after the deadline.

Jazz, you have to sign 2 vets off of waivers (FA) for 1 million each to make it work. This means Marc Jackson, Horace Grant, or any other old man... They can be added to declerq within 24 hours of being signed. Ya shoulda read my last message  Wink
I don't even think the salaries worked on the trade that's posted...

I have it correct, right commish?

I will cut Sergei Monia to make the deal work once the Jazz have signed the two vets and added them to the deal.

Trade 1:

Hughes
for
Marion

Trade 2:

Jake Tsakalidis
2008 pistons 1st
2008 sonics 1st
2009 hornets 1st
for
Declerq

That's the rule as I understand it. But I'm really not sure, have to get Bods to weigh in on the situation.

McCaskill and Newell are fine.  DeClercq is the one who can't be traded.

Yes, but if you add two newly signed vets to Declerq then it works... Correct?

No, DeClercq can't be traded unless he's the only outgoing player.

the original trade had you trading mccaskill, newell and declerq.  replace declerq with a signed fa with a large enough contracts and it works (sign and trade, doesn't need to be the only outgoing player).
