Bottom line Allen > Lewis

Thats just my opinion, but I'd take a player who averaged 31/6/5 last year over Lewis.

it all a matter of goals. if you have a chance at the title, yeah you should go after ray,  but if you're somewhere in the middle (like orlando this year) it's a shortsighted move that will screw all your chances in free agency in the years to come. i would understand this if the mavs did it or some other team that's missing the final piece, but not the magic. they are not contenders (off course i might be wrong) and this move only hurt their chances in the future.  and btw magicGM is already shopping ray...

Yeah I always found it odd when a team gets a player and immediately puts him on the block.  That said a team could always improve, so I could sorta understand shopping Ray already

the fact with Lewis is did he has not improved even a single rating on training camp..

while for Allen, I do expect that when his contract goes to around the 14million territory, his average will still be around 20-22ppg. IMO..

and no, I'm not going for the oldest lineup.

As for being over the cap for years, Lewis and Allen's contract has the same length and amount.
