I like Jackson better than Nets does, but I wouldn't have taken him in the top 10, I don't think.
His outside shot should increase (he won't be taking 3 pointers, and that and his C free throw rating weights his outside rating down more than it should for an inside guy) and he's an A post defender with a B potential for perimeter defense. Sure, he's lacking in quickness, but I'll take a Robert Traylor-type project at pick 16.
Again, he's not going to turn into a star, but he should help my team out. That's enough for me.

I'm very pleased to get Jackson. Had him #1 on my draft list. Hopefully, the FBCB ratings will carry over. I'm not sure how he could be considered #2 , but hopefully his B potential is true and he can increase his defense this TC.

League Information / General Board / Sim 10 Discussion

Watch out for Denver!!!!
A 6-1 record this sim, immediately following last sim's 5-1 record. 11-2 in the last 20 games, not too shabby, especially after hitting our low point of 23 wins and 35 losses. But ever since switching to the current setup (both settings and roster lineups), the team is clicking. Also helping the team rebound is that we're catching up in the disparity between home and road games.
Odom is playing like an MVP ever since he was moved back to SF, and Butler has increased his production these last couple sims. Overall, I'm very pleased at the recent play of everyone. And lo and behold, the Nuggets are in playoff contention somehow. I just hope the team can continue to play well over these last two sims to provide some momentum if we do make it into the playoffs.

Wow. 5-1 sim, including a win over the Clippers, who I never win against. Maybe I should have tried Juan Ward in the starting lineup a while ago.

Off-Topic Discussion / Off Topic Discussion / Comcast vs. Verizon FiOS

I've done a bit of research on this, but does anybody have any advice they could lend me? I've been offered the chance to get Verizon FiOS broadband instead of Comcast, and I was just wondering if it was worth the switch. Thanks.

Crapped the bed again. Scrapping the Odom at center experiment. Butler hasn't played anywhere near last year's level. Disappointing season all around thus far.

The War Room / Trade Talk / Nuggets: Odom on the block

Primarily looking for a center, although all offers will be accepted.
He's averaging 24 and 9, shooting 47% and 42% from downtown. Plus, he's a B+/B offensive player with B+/B+ defense/rebounding. He's a definite help to any team.
I'm only moving him because I like what Morehead's done at SF, and I could really use a starting center to pair up with Berkowitz.
