ridiculous. 3-4 had some nice games against raptors. Al had a nice game on a loss. Dwight had an explosive 32, 22 and 7 putting Gasol into a terrible 1 field goal performance on a 1-point victory. rest of the sim is not worth of discussing

Test failed. This was my first losing sim in a long long time. I had Chandler injured and I tried Luckett at starting pg. I know he is bad, but he is my only A ballhandler. So I wanted to see if a good ballhandler gave the other guys better opportunities. I guess not... Raptors, Nets and Wolves punished me for this experiment. They came into LA and gave me a hard time! But the good thing about this is: I get to know my players better. I know their best positions, who they like to play with, who are good backups,... I guess I will try some other things during this season.

OH MY GOD.
Started Hunter to try to boost his trade value. He averages 21.1ppg on 60% shooting in 9 games, and I go 8-1!!!!
HAHAHA. This is unbelivable. Had ONE 1 pt loss this sim, that's it.
Raptors 126 Spurs 110 -- Hunter with 29 on 11-15 shooting in his debut. With Hunter's improved offensive we shot 56.3% against the Spurs. Melo added 25 on 11-17 shooting, and Gasol had 21 and 18 as a non option. Max added 15 points and 15 assists.
Raptors 105 Clippers 93 -- What a huge win. Held the Clipps to just 39.1%, as we scored 48.9%. Melo led the way with 26 and 7. Hunter scored 23 On Gordon, on 11-16 shooting. He also held Ben to 22 points on 8-12 shooting. Not great, but good enough. Max added 16 pts 13 asts on 7-12 shooting to be named POTG. Swift and Gasol both dub-dub'd.
Raptors 109 Blazers 104 -- Again, it was the Hunter show, as he got 27 off 10-15 shooting. Melo added 19, and MAx had 17 pts 10 asts 7 rebs to again be named POTG. Swift had 16 and 16, and Gasol had 10 and 17. Shultz dropped 24 and 10 on Hunter, but shot under 50%. Held the Blazers to just 37.6%, while shooting 48.3%.
Raptors 87 Hawks 76 -- Nice that we can still win those low scoring games. Hunter led the way with 17, Max added 16 pts, 11 rebs and 6 assists. Once again, Max won POTG, he must love Hunter. Melo had 14 pts, 13 rebs. Got 60 rebounds in this game and was OUTREBOUNDED byt the Hawks' 62. Hunter did an amazing job on Mercer, holding him to 8 points on 3-12 shooting.
Raptors 95 Pistons 85 -- Hunter again led the way with 24 on 10-17 shooting. Max added 20, 8 and 4, and guess what? Another POTG. Melo scored on 6 in a very very bad game for him, but a win is a win. Garcia had 10 and 10 off the bench.
Raptors 117 Knicks 98 -- Yes! Finally able to beat the Knicks! So many grat individual games: Melo scores 25 on 13-26 shooting...Gasol gets 26 and 16 while getting to the stripe 15 times...Hunter scores 21 on 10-20 shooting...Swift has 11 pts and 13 rebs....Max gets 10 pts and 12 asts, but doesn't win POTG as Gasol gets that. Hunter holds Wells to his average.
Raptors 121 Wolves 90 -- A huge win. Melo explodes with 47 and 10. Hunter chips in 17 points in only 21 minutes. Gasol gets 14 and 8, and Max adds 11 pts, 17 asts and 9 rebounds, so close to another trip-dub. Shot an amazing 57.3%.
Magic 94 Raptors 93 -- AAAHHHH, tough loss. Dwight Howard was an ANIMAL. He got 32, 22 and 7 blocks against Gasol. Melo scored 33 and 7. Max added 22, 9 and 8 in another fantastic game. Hunter had 10, but Gasol REALLY struggled shooting 1-18 in one of the worst performances I have ever seen.
Raptors 108 Magic 98 -- Payback. This time Howard is held to 15 and 7 in just 22 minutes, but Jefferson explodes with 27 and 10. However, a balance attack works every time, and that is exactly what we had. Melo dropped 32 and 7, Hunter had 22 on 11-17 shooting. Gasol added 18 and 7, whilst Max had 12, 7 and 5 and Swift had 11 and 14.

Watch out for Denver!!!!
A 6-1 record this sim, immediately following last sim's 5-1 record. 11-2 in the last 20 games, not too shabby, especially after hitting our low point of 23 wins and 35 losses. But ever since switching to the current setup (both settings and roster lineups), the team is clicking. Also helping the team rebound is that we're catching up in the disparity between home and road games.
Odom is playing like an MVP ever since he was moved back to SF, and Butler has increased his production these last couple sims. Overall, I'm very pleased at the recent play of everyone. And lo and behold, the Nuggets are in playoff contention somehow. I just hope the team can continue to play well over these last two sims to provide some momentum if we do make it into the playoffs.

You should definitely celebrate this win. Because there won't be many like this in the near future over the Clippers. I was without Chandler and started Luckett as a test. Brown only played 20 minutes.

True. Actually, all 3 of my big man have lost a significant amount of games this season. But what I did was talk some trash... playoffs are coming up. So I have to work on the trashtalking again.

Oh I know it was harmless trash talk, that is why I responded to it with more trashtalk!! Of course, it's a bit of a moot point, seeing as how we are done our season series, and we'd both have to beat some better teams (Nets, Hornets for me...Warriors for you) to meet in the Finals... Of course, if we did meet, I'd predict Raptors in 6

6-0 sim. I wish there were a little more space between the Raptors and me than 2.5 games, especially considering that I've played a few more home games.
Ben Wallace went out, but we were 3-0 without him. Unfortunately he is out one more game where I play the Magic, so Howard might go off.

I have 15 more games, 9 of them at home. Play 2 against the Nets which will be tough, but other than that, every game is winnable.

Not bad, but i really started to hate those 1-3pt losses, i barely won any close games this season. What really hurted was all those losses to Sonics in last 2 sims and to Nuggets (but theyre on a big run so its fine). 3-5, playoff hopes are vanishing a bit.
@ Sonics 88-93 Lost again to damn Sonics, its really annoying.
Nuggs 109-113 Another close loss, i seem to never win this games, Telf posted a nice 26/12, Iggy added 21 but i was eaten down the rim.
@ Raps 104-109 Another one damn, Shultz did great 24/5/10, Haywood with 10/15 5 blk only bright stars in this shitty loss.
Lakers 110-86 WOW, a win...Iggy 28,Telf 26/5/11 5stl, Buehler 14/18,Haywood 12/19, Shultz had an inspiring night, 3-15 shooting.
@ Jazz 92-108 Just amazingly miserable perfomance by every1 except Shultz.
@ Nuggs 94-100 again the damn Nuggs won, Telf had a decent night 36/5/5 6stl.
@ Wolves 111-92 Nice win, starters all scored 15 or more.
@ Rockets 116-108 Another nice win, Iggy leading scorers, 6 guys with 13 or more points.
Its gonna be tough.

Don't want to spoil the party but I guess you realized WHO you beat here: Spurs, Blazers, Hawks, Pistons, Knicks, Wolves. Total win% is .399. Anything else than 6-0 would have been a MAJOR disappointment for a .680 team like yours. Clippers win was nice (despite their claim it's with an asterisk) and Magic series was 1-1 (interesting that it's almost impossible to sweep home-home series in FBB). So while 8-1 sounds great on paper it's hardly special ...

Fine sim. 3-1, closer to securing a playoff berth. And closer to avoiding the 8th seed and sure 1st round desaster - despite being 2-0 vs. Nets on the season I feel having more chance against Hornets (1-2) and Raptors (0-3). Only Nets and Pacers (0-4) I see a quick exit looming. beat Cavs, Suns, Bulls, lost to Magic (all at home). Too bad Chauncey missed the Magic game, new Celtic Mangrum was decent but shot 5-21 against Brice. Schabinger had a great game vs. Cavs, starting for injured Lenard: 30/9 on 11-15 shooting while holding SF counterparts Molina/Hornick to 2 points on 1-7. Later he held the Suns Gerstl/Peja combo to 4 pts on 2-5 shooting. Just amazing ... And now, the real test: after 3 more (easier) home games we play 8 of the last 10 on the road, including the Nets twice, Hornets and Raptors. That will make or break our season ...
