please guys take care of your DC. several teams were on cpu control last sim because their DC was messed up. thanks.

bad news for the pacers. finally i had enough opp. to evalute my team but orlando went down till day 112. at least i think i have found my lineup to match up well with the hornets but without orlando i will be in big trouble to reach the finals.

nice sim. 7 road games, went 4-3

beat the Nets on the road. Natt went off on future Nets PG Timmy.

Jerry Munson with the AllStar game MVP leading the East to a win.

Lol 2
@ the Sonics Magloire for winning two POTM awards already.
Last I checked the Sonics are 23-24 and 10th the the West.
Shouldn't that at least count A LITTLE ... ?

oh, and new addition Natt with a nice welcome.
24.4ppg, 9.3rpg (at SG !!!) and 2.1 steals.

Sure he can't defend my grandma, but keep it up, man.
 Thumbs Up

Well, without Magloire, my Sonics could very well be 13-34.

But seriously, just look at the stats...he's unreal this year.

agreed, he's very good.

but in the NBA no player from a losing team would get an award ... and rightfully so.

Any chance you can tell us who? So we don't assume otherwise and write "Same" for the next time... I hope it was the Rockets... we sucked

OK sim, I guess, at 4-2  - considering sweeping changes to the lineup. Played all six at home with a pretty easy schedule. Losing to the Sonics by one is no great disappointment (bad third quarter in a defensive battle), but losing to the C's....well, that's always embarassing (Natt really did bruise Timmy - literally and figuratively).

I haven't done much analysis over the past couple of seasons, but with so many changes and lineup possibilities (and cutting myself back to two teams from four), now is a good time to start up again....I have a lot of experimenting to do to see what lineup will work best.

On to the sim....

Team rebounding was superb - which I like very much - our average this sim was +6 over the league leading average. A:TO ratio was a little below where I'd like it at <2:1, but again, the offence is going through some callibration so I'll have to watch this over time. Terrible shooting this sim from some big guns, and .401 as a team, explaining some of the inconsistency - Pryz at .301, options 1/3 Timmy and MRob at .340 and .372, and Adam at .379. Team played some straight up D, which dropped the STLS/BLKS some, but opponents shot .402 which I'll certainly take. Will be interested to see how this carries over against better competition.

Cummings made a very smooth transition: shooting .538 (.533 from 3PT range) and putting up 23.0/7.8 - and having a positive impact on Pryz's and Dial's rebounding #'s. Starting backcourt gobbled up 11.2 rpg, which is awesome.

I think it's about time to unleash Timmy at PG to see what he can do there - much anticipated, too, with 8 sims in his career to date and none at his natural position. Pryz's numbers on offense have been down, so I'm going to try a few things to get him going too.

Great representation for the Nets at all-star weekend to boot! Pryz made his first all-star team in his second season (21pts in 21 mins Shocked), and Timmy got the nod in his first - cool - though he struggled. Pryz also played in the Rook-Soph game, helping the sophs beat his rook teammates Ed Saperstein (how he wasn't the MVP putting up 30/6 in 25mins on 11/16 in beyond me) and Timmy again. Timmy had a rough go in the "chuck-off", but good on him for making it, and ex-Net Billy Rice won the "dunk-off" - who knew.

POW's have been handed to players on losing teams in the NBA many times. They just needed to have had a winning week.

Being a point guard for the Nets at some point of your career really helps your chances for a weekly or monthly award Thumbs Up

Not when 26/11 and 2 POTW can't even earn the starting spot at PF.
