Well, an impressive turnaround, even if I am forced to say so myself.
And it could have been even better if only Kyle Dial took my (much bigger) offer rather than opting to stay in Utah to win the DPOY...
Nets limped to the finish line with a 4-4 sim (with Koncak - the glue of my team D, Tom - down for most of it), and ending up first in the Atlantic was a nice accomplishment though not expected. Got the usual "consistent inconsistency" from the guys, and did get to see some flashes of what Wanzer can become, which was good.
Unfortunately, I saw more of what he is now....a project.
This season's success was a little unusual in how it came to be - the TO's were ungodly, it was a bit of a roller coaster ride, and most performances were different than what I expected - but it was a good year none-the-less....
MJ had a real down year by his standards, going from All-League First Team to All-Nothing: it must have really dejected him being 2nd option for a while there....
Mags was great, but inconsistent.....
Manning was not as strong as I expected him to be, but 17+/6+ on decent percentages in <35mpg is a nice first season.....
FBB loves Pryz - I'm not sure how he managed 12 POTG's - but I'm not complaining. I love him too: 12+/9+ with 3+ bpg is another nice start to what should be a good career. And at least
he manages to keep the TO's down...
Nice to have two guys on the first-rook-team. Kinda shocked to see Palacio on the second all-league team - guess I goofed on that one abit
Looking forward to the PO's and the 76'ers in the first round- two teams that haven't been together for a long time squaring off could easily go either way.
Edit to add: Thanks Pacers for a great job this season, and thanks Bods for fixing up the issues today and your continued work making this a great league.
