Pacers trade:

Darko Milicic

for

Chris Andersen
Steve Smith
Bryon Russel
2007 1rd pick

the trade can only take place after the signing of Steve Smith and Russel.
to make it work i will cut fred jones.
Now it should work.

Good luck getting that one to go through...

Straight from the rules page:

"- Players signed can’t be traded for 60 days, unless they are traded in a sign and trade deal.  Sign and Trade deals must be posted within "24 hours" of the player being signed."

As dabods says, "this is on the rules page, which would be nice if people read"...

Steve Smith and Kenny Anderson would be signed on different days, which would mean 24 hours had passed...  Sorry to piss on your parade, i'm just calling it the way i see it...  but i'm not the commish, just a fellow gm giving his thoughts...

both would be signed for the min 1yr.
so i read this in the rules:

Minimum Exception

1 year contract.

Salary determined by experience of the player (chart here)

Can be included in trades.

so i am not sure who is right but i read the rules  Smile

and if it is really not possible we can easily change kenny for another FA so i think this trade will go.

Minimum salary players can be traded, but they're still subject to normal trade rules.  Stating that they can be traded was in comparison to the other exceptions (MLE and LLE), which can't be traded all year.

So no, the trade can't go through.
