A sad day for Jersey, but I'm trying to build something for the long-term, and the allure of the cream of the existing crop of free agents is too much to pass up.

The New Jersey Nets trade:
Franchise Favorite Son Bennett Fuqua

to the Seattle Supersonics for:
$250

Obviously (duh) a cap space deal, and I'm banking alot on a random chance. Should be fun.

Bennett is a helluva player and I love him like I have loved no other sim player...but after the Suns trade had it's wee snafu, I was out of the two-max contract range I was shooting to be in: and this gets me back there with a bit of wiggle room.

Enjoy Sonics.

Sonics agree.  This kills my cap room, but there were no guarantees anyways.  So the thought of adding a very good player for cash only was too good to pass up.
