in the west the lower seeds are on pace to sweep their opponents.  Shocked
my frontcourt can even dominate the pistons one. with sabonis having a near triple double in game 1 (he had 8 assists) and dwight having one in the second game with 11 blks. Sabonis again had a very nice game with 24pts in 29 mins.

Awesome. Better not blow this.

Evans with a triple double in game 2: 21/11/17

Moved Collins to SG to score at will over C defender Koegan, he scored 34 & 37 in games 2/3 respectively.

Borgmann is holding Hubbard to 36% shooting.

I hope this somewhat continues and we dont have a monumental breakdown...

amazingly Mahorn and Cliff did betterdefensively against Sabas/Dwight than AllStars Sampson and Munson did.

And while the Nuggets are the lower seed, their dominance isn't exactly surprising. They matchup well and have the championship game experience. And the (lower seeded !) Warriors now return to their late season form.

Probably the only surprise in round 2 so far has been the Hornets loss. Compared to round 1 it's pretty boring ...

It's been pretty ugly so far in the Heat/Hornets series so far. I was really hoping that the Pistons could take out the Pacers... Doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

Edit: I didn't realize the Pistons were injured. That stinks. It could have been an interesting series.

Hmmm, some drastic lineup changes are needed...
Losing that 3rd game at home really hurt.
As did losing homecourt advantage, against a team who has the exact same record....

Wow. Dominant performance by my group, especially the deciding game 5.

Don Collins in game 5: 51 points (20/39, 7/11 from 3), 16 reb, 1 ast, 2stl. And thats at Shooting Guard. Guess moving him to SG so Koegan can play his usual C defense was a smart move on my part.

I didnt even see that Magic was hurt after 2 minutes of the second game and didnt play again in the series. I am very impressed that we won that handily with Lewis starting at SF and getting zero production from him.

Stats from round 2:
Tyler: 6.6/10.4/3.0/0.6/1.8
Borgmann: 11.4/8.0/2.2/1.0/3.8
Lewis: 5.6/3.8/1.0/1.2/0.4 (35min)
Collins: 33.6/8.4/3.2/2.0/1.8to
Evans: 26.0/7.2/12.6/1.8/4.0to

Now onto the Jazz, who we were a dismal 1-3 against, 1-2 after our Tyler trade. Have to be careful and see the best matchups.

Wow, what a heartbreaking series with the Jazz...
The changes I made were incredibly effective...

Moving Barton into the starting lineup.
Switching Dylan Pettit to C and Everrette Strait to PF.
Going to a very fast pace, and to an outside focus.
And making Vern, Barton, and Doleac the offensive options.

Losing all three to start, though, was just way to big of a hole to climb from. Just 1 quarter away from making a historic comeback.

Good luck Jazz, very exciting series!!!!

warriors almost made SSBA history. i don?t think any team ever won a series after being down 3-0. Warriors were in front going into the last quarter of the series by 5 and lost the game by 1 pt. Great series.
well pistons couldn?t compensate for their injuries, but still gave me a good fight. next are hornets again Sad.
man can nobody take them out Laughing. it is getting boring  Thumbs Up
they are a deep and great team. hope i found a good strategy for them in the next hours  Cheers
nuggets are really playing their best ball now. they should be the favs in their matchup.

I didn't realized that Magic was hurt too, after I saw that my team was down three games to nothing, I just looked at the stats.  Congratz on the win, GL rest of the way. Cheers

I'm making this a habit of beating the Celtics in the playoffs, and losing to the Pacers the next round.

When's that f'ing dwight going to retire, anyway?

Congratulations to the Jazz and Nuggets (it's safe rooting for them now, and I do) but huge props to the Warriors for making me look bad and making this a series. Though I can't help but seeing this as one of the weakest 2nd round classes from the West in a long time. Sorry if I step on some toes but i'm not sure anyone but the Nuggets could have won more than a game against any of the East 2nd round teams.

As for my conference, same old story. Congrats Pacers and Hornets.

Finals: Hornets vs. Nuggets
Champ: Nuggets

(though I don't necessarily want my pick to drop ten spots)
