well lost mark and a game against the celtics. no one other than the hornets is up 3-0. pistons still managed to win their first game without ralph, brice and kyle but lost the 3rd pretty bad (has to be the lowest PO scoring ever i guess). the rest of round 1 will be done in 12 hours.

hmm, tied the series in Indiana, then was a quarter away from going up 2-1. But now it's back to form.
Still, inspiring game from the (somewhat) young Celtics. No sweep, so let's see if we can take another one to at least make it look somewhat respectable.

I wasn't confident before the series began... I'm even less so now!

Evidently Macy was injured in game 1 and missed games 2 and 3. Luckily George Johnson was able to step up and we took a 3-0 lead. I'm looking forward to having Macy back though. Bol has been terrorizing Mehta on offense, holding him to 30% shooting thus far, which made quite an impact considering that Mehta had 14.3 FGAP.

same real surprises here. in the west only the number 1 survived from the higher seeds in the east the heat took a game 7 nail biter. pistons without their starting and backup pg still took their series in 6. Sabonis really stepped up in the second part and dominated his matchup while i could finally handle peters. next up are pistons. pistons really match up well against my team but i hope the injury of brice could make the difference since he always is scoring at will against me.

Very encouraging to see my team win a playoff series without home court advantage. Rockets put up a good fight. In the end, I think the difference was making Evans my primary option, because his PG just couldnt contain him whatsoever.
Round 1 stats: Tyler - 9.0/12.0/2.5/1.0/3.2 Borgmann - 10.0/10.7/1.8/1.8/5.7 - wow! 1st in the league Collins - 23.0/5.7/3.2/1.3/1.8to Magic - 17.3/7.0/2.7/1.7/1.7to Evans - 23.2/5.7/9.8/1.3/4.0to - turnovers are a little much, but he led us to a win Macauley - 8.2/7.2 in 22min
Now onto the dreaded Mavericks....always such a good team. We beat them 3-1 in the regular season, hopefully that carries over.

Man, the Nets, over the last 4 seasons or so, have to be the biggest playoff failures I have ever seen. Such a well-built team, but so much underachieving.

hey, hey, hey, that dubious distinction still belongs to the Celtics. But sure, the Nets are closing in ... Anyway, strange series against the Pacers. Great effort winning two of three games in Indiana, but unable to hold court at home, losing all three. Honestly, this was as much a winnable series as I've ever had so I take this as a missed opportunity. Puzzeling stat: After being TIED in rebounds through the first five games, my Celtics get outrebounded by 27 (!!!) in the decisive game 6 home loss. Congratulations to the Pacers who have a very deep team, though it lacks the power in the starting five of recent years. Still, with home court - and i doubt anyone else wins twice there this could be another title. As for next season, since Peters was my only starter above 30 I like to keep the core of this team for next season. It has earned another chance ...

Not sure which one applies more - and I think this might be a repeat of my comment last year at roughly this time (and please don't mind the cursing, it's only temporary):
Un-fucking-believable.
or
Give me a fucking break.
Milner was injured for Game 7, which probably didn't help. Who knew that Kevin McHale would come back to haunt his former club.

Two of those games were without our best player Phil Hubbard. With my full lineup we split our series 1-1 but the win came when you guys were struggling and before the Tyler trade.
