Hey guys,
I have a phone interview with Ed Stefanski scheduled for next week for a piece I'm doing for RealGM.  If anybody has any questions they want asked, let me know and I'll see if I can get them in.

Ask him what makes Andre Miller a legit piece to built around with and who are the rookies that enticed his appetite for this year's draft.

And ask him why Dr.J isn't improving despite his high rookie potential.. HAHA jk

I think it would be interesting to ask him about bargaining strategy (without asking him to give up too much, of course). For example, does he like to make the first offer? Does he like getting offers more?

Also, from a financial standpoint, what is better for a franchise -- a series of peaks (deep into playoffs) and valleys (lotto picks), or steady success (playoffs every year) with limited chance at a championship?

BTW, that's pretty damn cool that you get to interview him -- is it gonna be on RealGM radio?

Yeah.  I was kinda surprised they accepted.

Some of it might be replayed on RealGM radio, but it won't be on there live.  The transcript will probably be posted on realgm, along with a corresponding article.

Thanks.  It was definitely a fun experience.  There's definitely a lot I wish I had asked him, some that I forgot, and some that I chickened out on, but overall it could have been worse.

when you interviewed him, were you only limited to a certain number of questions? or time pressure?

So what did you do? Just ask them, "hey you wanna give me Ed Stefanski's number, and I'll call him for RealGM?" That'd be sweet. Man, if I could call Bryan Colangelo I would wet myself repeatledly.

Sounds too easy. Were you nervous? Ever done an interview like that before?
