It wasn't all that easy to give up on Ransey, or that pick...but I think Ransey is far better suited as a SG and I can't currently utilize him at that position. As for the pick, I think the Suns are an excellent defensive team and I hope the pick doesn't crack the top 8 or so.

Leaves me with solid building blocks of Willis, Buck and Person up front. Very happy to have those 3 to build around. Should be able to coerce another 4-5 top years out of Schader, and with my first to grab  a future PG...also have about projected 8-12 million in cap space for the upcoming FA period.

Raptors now have a sweet frontline...
Bulls have gained some depth, and a starting PG, but I am a little confused with the direction of the team...

well, let's hope Sura or Porter can start PG as there's no way Ransey should ever get close to ball handling.

Giving up Willis will hurt, as backcourt people are a lot easier to find than good big men, but on the other side Bulls get a lottery pick.

But one thing is clear, the Bulls improved tremendously in the backcourt for now. Almost too much, and while a roster with Sura - Ransey - Porter - Robinson - Hornacek is young and great on paper, it's in fact 5 guys for 2 spots. Bias at SF might be a downgrade from Kersey/Caleb for now, and Swift isn't close to Willis. Of course the will improve on the 15-22 record from Isiah - Robinson - Kersey - Perkins - Willis ...

... but there's hopefully more dealing coming.
