Ugh. I never seem to sign anyone I really want. Someone should tell these guys that Jersey is a nice place, full of nice people....kinda.

Well, I used up my MLE and LLE. I'm fairly happy with who I got. Sure, neither of them are going to be starters, or even close. And they're both practically retired. But if I can get one year of serviceable backup play, that's all I'm really looking for. Telfair did put up nearly 10/6.5 last year, so hopefully in a 20-25 mpg role he can be productive.
Semjonova was mainly just to get a nice big expiring in case a deal came along that I needed it. Last year I didn't have anything to match salary with, and that actually killed a deal or two I was working on.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I cant use this damn money again, if i knew this before i would keep Macy.
And now O'Neill is gone, and my only two wishes i wanted to re-sign after i spend my money Keogan and Telf went for ridicolous minimum and MLE offers.
Fuck it all.
Signed no one, lost Telf and Keogan for whom i didnt want to offer before Day 3 cause i wanted to spend my money on others 1st.
And they both went to Pistons and Pacers !! Former and current commish....gRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Youve done that on purpose, just kiddin'

Sort of like the NBA. Look at this past year...Rashard Lewis as the big name FA. Very few stars switch teams through FA.

Exactly, its only league where we just have 1-3 guys worth MAX last few seasons and 99 % always sign with their last team, unlike other leagues where some 3-7 good guys enter, and half of them change teams.

here. other leagues hardly ever have quality problems in FA. guess we're all to conservative here ...Not all of us. I had a winning % of .850+, and I've shuffled quite a bit and made a better team imo. And that 'big bucks for a role player' comment on Wooten will motivate me for many seasons to come, Tom. If you had a 24 year old, 6'11, 280lb'er with career shooting #'s in the .440/.710 range who puts up 3bpg, I doubt you'd be calling him a 'role player'. More like 'untouchable'.
