Mavs:

C: Erick Dampier 6'11
PF: Rafael Araujo 6'11
SF: Dirk Nowitzki 7'0 Rolling Eyes
SG: Luke Jackson 6'7
PG: Terry 6'3

AVG: 6'9

I play couple of guys out of position and you will rarely see a 7'0 SF nowaday in NBA.

Who cares? Just kidding, that is a pretty tall starting lineup. Let's see who has the shortest one as well.

Well, I had

Mihm 7'0
Ostertag 7'2
Finley 6'7
Vince 6'6
Casell 6'3

Without the Boozer trade. But he's only 6'9  Rolling Eyes

Well I COULD have started:

Yao 7'6
Deke 7'2
Diop 7'0
Varejao 6'10
Peja 6'10...

... but the question was about starting 5's!

Yea, put your starting five only, not the tallest five players.

But mine is a legitimate starting 5 that I could put on the court.  Not just taking my tallest 5 players.  If that was the case I could list 5 players all 6'10" or taller.

Are you serious?  Starting three rookies and their ratings ain't good either.  I don't think you can win 10 games with that starting 5.

I definately will start 1 rookie (Hobson) and start Nesterovic at center.  With Nesterovic in place of Mikan this is a solid defensive team.  The biggest issue is scoring but then that was my problem last year.  And I am giving the big lineup serious thought.  But it is more likely that I would use this big lineup as my second unit.
