I actually don't have a problem with any one of these picks.

I especially like Trent Kundla and Bob McPherson.  I actually think Kundla could start in a few years, possibly be a good starter, with his skillset of outside shooting, ballhandling, and defense (with improvement).  and with just 1 improvement each in inside scoring, defense and rebounding and McPhereson becomes a solid starter.

Nice bunch of guys.  However, will any of these guys get playing time as rookies?

Or will we have to wait a year or two to see if this experiment worked?

Most of these are guys with B or A potential.  You won't know if it worked for 2-3 years at the earliest.

I think he might have gotten 2 starers.  I still contend that none will be as good as Jackson (although Kundla could be close).

I would have liked to have Baly instead of Mikan.  But otherwise I got who I was looking for.  After Baly was taken I thought about taking another pg but Mikan's height was too much to pass on.

My DC should look like this:

C: Nesterovic/Cunningham/Mikan
PF: Hobson/West/McPhereson
SF: George/Strickland/Ginobili
SG: Ginobili/Kundla/Hassell
PG: TParker/JParker/Newman

At least the first week.  I can see Josh Parker and Strickland pushing for starting positions by mid-season.  I am going to try to give the rookies as equal of floor time as possible the first couple weeks.  Then the ones who prove themselves will move into the rotation.

Damn, I was going after Mikan.

Spurs, I'd give you the 24 and 39 picks for him..and maybe a future Heat second...
