Post here if you're interested in becoming the commish.  This will be open for 2 days, after which we'll vote.

I'm not sure if you want to consider me a candidate, but I refuse to let SSBA die, and am willing to take over as a LAST RESORT

If it came down to me, I would only be able to do it with alot of support from nick, derek or tom

I've never been a commish and am not really a PC pro, so what kind of time commitment are we looking at on a per sim basis? For an average in-season sim and average off-season sim? How long does it take, or who will make, the draft files? Most of the GM actions look easy enough to stay on top of with the current set up, but how much time is required to do what needs to be done to keep things up to date?

I'd be interested in helping out, but I need to be realistic about my time commitments as well. And yes, I'm a responsible father too  Thumbs Up

my vote would be the Pacers.

he knows a lot about FBB and he probably has the most spare time from all of us
Wink

And he volunteered to take ober full time, which counts for me.

Of course, Raptors would be fine, and i am glad to provide any assistance needed, and he's also online a lot, but if Trev's already heading two leagues it might be too much of a burden taking over a third one. But thats his call ...

guys, believe me, derek has made everything much easier than it was for him.  He cut the uploading time by a lot and has many tools to help make things much easier.  The longest part is day 1 FA, which takes about an hour to input.  I enjoyed Day 1 FA though, I found it very suspenseful.  If you have an hour of free time/sim day, a good computer, internet connection that isn't DSL and the willingness to do it then you would be a good candidate.  I'm not sure if Nets or Pacers have a lot of experience or time, but I neve touched FBB before I took over and I picked it up fairly easily.  Either of those 2 would make a good candidate, IMO.
