Round 1 up...tomorrow's sim is at an unknown time, but after 2pm EST sometime. Upset's ran rampant in the east, unfortunately I am one of those victims.

Never understood why a top 3 team would trade it's best player in such a wide-open season, i said so before. But has there ever been a season where the #1, #2 1nd #3 seed go down in the first round ? Amazing choke jobs ... or should we say great upsets. Probably a little bit of both. When you see practically all of the top eastern teams barely playing .500 ball during the latter parts of the season, you know it's there to take for anybody. Props to the survivors ! But, man, it sucks looking at what could have been ...

Congrats to the Blazers for beating us in 6. Glad our team even won 2 games. As I said before, Yao was just too much for us. If we had a legit centre I believe we had a shot in this one.

But, man, it sucks looking at what could have been ... we won our last 10 games of the season. I thought we were in good shape to make it to the EC Finals, although like I said previously, the most dangerous low seeds, IMO, were the Celtics (who didn't get it) and the Wizards who knocked me off in Atlanta in game 7. I guess I was wrong, they were all dangerous. If we had George Johnson it would have been a better outcome for the series and Mike Evans wouldn't have been chucking up shots like there was no tomorrow. Our first PO and we choke as the top team in the league (ie. real life Mavs), but I expect a better PO performance next season as long as we can replace some of the guys we lose.

Would the championship-era Nets lose a single game in this league?

Game 1: Bulls 112 Raptors 102
-- Natt had a really solid game with 22 and 9 in 40 minutes. Kareem added 19/9, and his backup Beens had 12/9. We shot 50% and made 14-17 free throws, but the Bulls shot 51.7% and got to the line 28 times. The big difference maker was Fleisher who scored 25 on 10/11 shooting and a perfect 5/5 at the line. We were only able to force 6 turnovers compared to the 12 we committed.
Game 2: Raptors 112 Bulls 108
-- Down 8 heading into the 4th Q and facing an 0-2 defecit in the series, the youngsters really stepped their game up and got us the important victory. Team shot 52.3% from the floor, an amazing road percentage. Sleepy was the hero, scoring 26 on 11/16 shooting including 4/6 from beyond. He added 8 assists. Cunningham had his second big game in a row with 18 pts and 14 rebs. Hard to remember that Sleepy and Cunningham are two rookies drafted in the middle of the round, now vitale in a playoff series win. Turned the ball over 18 times but we were a +9 on the glass.
Game 3: Raptors 100 Bulls 97 (OT)
-- Clutch overtime victory at home. Milner was able to get a triple double with 28/13/11 so I'm very surprised we held on for the W. Floyd answered Milner with 25/6/5 of his own (his second straight 25+ game) and Natt added 20 and 13. Team was great at sharing the ball, with the total being 30 and no player having more than 6. Cunningham had yet another double double and this time we won the turnover battle.
Game 4: Bulls 110 Raptors 107
-- Was a tie game heading to the 4th and my boys just couldn't get it done at home. Beens came off the bench to score 22 and grab 10 as Cunningham and Wootten were both in foul trouble. Had 7 scorers in double figures, but Milner and Semjonova were too much. Lost the battle of the glass by 9. Bulls attepmted 12 more shots.
Game 5: Raptors 109 Bulls 85
-- Huge statement game - a 24 pt win in a piviotal game 5 on the road is just incredible. Incredible team effort. 5 players at 15+ pts, 7 players at 5+ rebounds, 3 players with 4+ assists. Natt led the way with 19/13 and Sleepy had 18/10/6. Bulls had just 14 assists and shot just 37.3%.
Game 6: Raptors 101 Bulls 96
--Big victory in a closeout game. Beens was huge with 22 in 20 minutes. Earned 9 more trips to the line, and that was clearly the difference maker.

the game seems to take into consideration playoff experience. Anytime you ahve a rookie or young players getting significant minutes in the playoffs, the teams seem to choke.
