hey derek , you should consider that this is celticsgm  . this is the guy who extends second rounders and thinks that someone would give up 40mill and retire before contract is finished.  not to mention that dirk dropped from franchise saver to bastard in less than 1 season

Shaq and TD retired in the midst of some big big contracts, showing some style in that (which Dirky-boy did not). Well, he'll EARN the last year of his contract, so much is clear. He'll run wind sprints in preseason until he's blue.

And "superstar-on-his-final-leg" was his status two seasons ago, last season nobody expected anything from him ... but to hang up his boots for good. And even in that he failed ...
