Why not just wait another year to see how he turns out before you offer him the extension?
because all i could have offered him is min or my exceptions. min could not have been enough and my exceptions I don't want to spend on a "project".
he now started in 13 games, got 6 double-doubles (including one 16/16 highlight against Finley), so I like what I see and now I have him cheap until he's got 3 bird years ...
