Wow, after winning 5 in a row and getting excited, I go on to lose 9 in a row.

Almost a perfect sim but loss to the Pistons by one point, so we went 8-1. Devin Harris was one rebound short of making history and joined the greats like Nate Thurmond, Alvin Robertson, Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 11 ast, 11 st and becoming the first player in SSBA to have a quadruple-double. If turnovers count he would be 3 TOs short of becoming the first player in basketball sim history to have a quintuple-double.

Amazingly funny sim. Played 4 games only and thought I'd do some experimenting. Starter at C was Jerome Veen (C+ C- C- C+ C+) who at least earned a tryout before vanishing from the league ... and boy did he make an impression: 27mpg, 11ppg, 7.5rpg on 55% shooting and 90% FT's. Keep it up, man. (of course his opponents had 17ppg, 8.5rpg and shot 55% as well, but he played Curry, Wedge, Gminski and Corzine tough) Everette Strait, subbing for injured Sampson, did a nice job as well. 13/11 and holding opp (Amare, Odom, Priddy) to 11/10. Main reason I beat the Bulls on the road. Darius Perry (i can't thank derek enough for getting him to the Celtics) with strong 14/8/7 including a triple double vs. the Nuggets Ransey. And of course my Mr. Franchise, Tyler, with 24/11/6 at SF. Turns it over in bunches, but as long as he scores and defends (15/5 on 42%) he can pretty much do whatever he wants. Finished with a 3-1 record, putting me 3 games above .500 Holding the #8 seed currently, with the Hornets pushing from down under, but also just one loss back from the #1 seed. btw, my record would get me the #2 or #3 seed in the West.

That's more like it: 7-2, and pretty much smashing every team we beat. Podkolzine was injured for the latter half of the sim - I don't know how much that had to do with it.

By the way, Yao is almost certainly staying here this season, unless I get an offer that really knocks my socks off. (this is in response to the sim 3 discussion)

Well, wow...another good sim. 4-3 for the Nets, and a shade over 500 - very nice for a predominantly young team - though still shy of the playoffs by a noticeable margin. Might have a few options available to me to change that. Impressive wins against the Raps and Magic, close losses to the Sonics (choked in the 4th) and Raps (see-saw battle where the Raps pulled it out in the fourth as well).
The Rookie Report continues to be pretty impressive: Ian Magliore, if I haven't said so, is my possibly my favorite sim player of all time. Shooting excellent percentages (.516/.765/.474), averages more assists than points (cool) and continues to bring down his TO's sim after sim. Almost has the ratio to 3-1, which I like. Kevin McHale is having some nice offensive games and flourishing in his combo role off the bench. Chris Cho is a steady scorer - averaging almost 19 a game and bringing down the TO's himself. Jordan Payton - and finally, signs of life from Jordan. Got his shooting percentages up (they were really ugly), and hit a new career high in points: 10. He's gotta start somewhere. lol

looking at the Kings performance it's no wonder he has to find satisfaction in other areas, such as poetry. and I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he started painting croatian landscapes now .. or followed Neil Perry's acting footsteps from Dead Poet Society (without the "retirement ceremony" of course)

very nice sim... had a blow out win over the celtics with shane starting to settle down and taking more good shots scoring 20 and 7 rebs. Had 30 ass behind the stellar play of rocky with 13 assists and lenard is back on track with 26 points. had a solid teamgame in a win over the knicks with shane again doing well with 15/13 and marion had 28/13. beat the cavs in all 4 quarters with lenard scoring 25points and had 9rebounds and 4steals. Shane this time with 19/9 and 3 blocks. mavs had too much scoring power for my team but i still showed that i can score over 100pts easy against them. another blowout win over spurs with lenard having 27/7 again 4 steals and shane 19/16 against Al J. this sim shane avg. 17.6 points 10.4 rebounds 1.4 blocks and 1.2 steals while shooting 48% from the field not bad for a 3rd option behind lenard who avg. 25 points and marion who avg. 16.4 points guess he didn´t decline so much

Take out that number and Wedge's down to 17ppg on 43% shooting. Actually I love your team right now. Reminds me a lot of the Celtics in recent years. Trying to outscore opponents, stopping weaker teams and occasionally even better ones, keeping them around 40%, but also putting in these stinkers were the opposition shoots 55%. Since Marion came along you're 8-9 (11-11 before). 5 of your 10 home losses came with Matrix, but also 3 of the 7 road wins. Man, that's us in the Dirk/Marion years all over, despite you don't have Dirk (yet). Of course we were winning more early in the season, went .500 between sim 4 and sim 9 (your current stage) before the inevitable collapse started around sim 10 ...

NO? Shane played also against bailey getting in foul troubles there and maggette a pretty good defender imo not to mention griff and Al J so there is no way imo that this wasn´t a pretty good performance by shane this sim. and my schedule was a lot tougher since marion and shane joined the team. i am still figuring out how to use the new guys but last sim was a step in the right direction. And don´t forget the east is crazy this year with almost every team close to 500.

Uh, wasn't expecting such a terrible sim not even myself. Droped 8 in a row. Magic's certanly ain't happy. Had to take him out to some clubs to explain him that a better days are certanly coming. Btw, Celtics 3 games above .50, what? How?!

tough schedule, went 6-3 so im happy and more important we're back at #2 and Pacific is just pathetic so it shouldnt be a problem keeping that spot.
Hoffa is playing possibly his best career season so far and as a non-option all season. His FG % is highest in 9 last seasons and after his last season's first time to avg. more then 1.3bpg (was 1.8bpg) this season he is even better despite lowest mpg in his career, finally braking the 2.0bpg mark (2.1bpg so far).
