Ask KingsGM whatever you want about his team in this thread.

For example; Why are you such a great visionary? Razz

As you can see Heat, he's a very stubborn student. It will take some time.

I think I will follow your model for rebuilding, I think you've done a very good job with it. I'm interested to see how it turns out, since I'll need to be rebuilding within the next couple years.

Not really a question, but w/e.

I'm not being sarcastic at all. He traded all of his assets for picks and expirings, then used his cap space to sign more assets and traded those for more picks, etc. He has a very good prospect to build around and is set to have the number 1 pick this year. Next year he'll have a few decent picks, and he'll probably stink again, so his pick should be pretty good.

oh, i agree. His GM skills might have "tremendous upside potential"

Of course, nobody can say if this will ever be a winning team, since all it has done so far is assemble pick after pick ... and loss after loss (apart from early last season when Ben and Tyson had them winning).

If obtaining a 25% chance at Isiah is a sign of being a good GM, then even the real Isiah might be a good GM after all ...

Except the real Isiah traded the top pick away then proceeded to earn a 25% chance of the Bulls getting it.

Hornets; Forget it. You have to draw it to him. Mr .50 just won't understand.

Hey, we know your IDEA (you told us about 586 times), but I'm still waiting to see how you can build a contender through the draft and FA.

You've done it through FA and trades, assembling dozens of veterans towards the end of their career, and you were pretty successful, but that's not the point here.

You may have been on your way with the Magic/Ben/Tyson package, but
a) singning Ben an Ty was pure luck because of one former contender (Clips) not caring anymore
b) and leading a then-weakass western conf for a few sims is far from being contender already
but still, this COULD have worked with a few more moves ...  but you abandoned that try early.

So once again, PROVE it's possible, and I'll give you credit.
But don't demand credit for the IDEA (of rebuilding through the draft and FA). Cause the one name that comes to my mind here is JERRY KRAUSE ... and he failed miserably !

Is there any other way?! Laughing

Oh i get it! I should collect as many  2nd rounders as possible and try to trade them 24/7 for superstars.

I'm not demanding anything. I'm just answering (over and over again) to your silly questions.

yes, there is another way than selling your whole team for picks and suck badly (and I mean really badly) for a few seasons. It's to develop talent, even from lesser picks, and get better through trades, and finding the best team chemistry.

It's the way 28 GMs take here, and at least a few of them got a title from that too.

I have not seen ONE title team which made it possible through the draft.
