sorry for the delay, bods, but the 4- or 5-team mega deal couldn't be completed since one team never showed up today.
but that can easily be adressed later, after FA and TC too.

agreed, get a young player in his prime who can lock down on the wing.  He's also an efficient player, a little overpaid but I can sign him to a better deal soon.  Vinnie is a good player, but two things about him, he shoots way too much, at a poor percentage and he's short for a SG which I don't like, height is important.  I gave a up a lot, but IMO I'm in a better position for the next couple years.

cheap?? A defender of that quality is hard to come by.  Not to mention he has been efficient offensive player.  I am also willing to bet that given a more expansive role in the offense he will score more than he has in his career.

yea, but i think that first rounder will be ok with another first rounder this year...plus I can just buy out the last year and sign him for half of what he has now

what a bad trade for the hawks

schabi is way overpaid and the best part is hawks had already a similar player with gerstl on their roster.
no offense and overrated defense but schabi also has a very bad contract.
And all this with giving up a possible lotto in a prett good draft and a young talent.
can´t even see any reason to do that trade.
trading the bad contract for talent and a first

Schabinger is a great defender and pretty good offensive player close to the prime of his career, ready to blossom as full-time starter (which he never could for me)

expect 17ppg, 2.5 steals, 47% fg, 93% ft, 40% 3p and just 1.7 to.

all that while slowing down opponent sg/sf considerably.

if not for the contract there's zero chance i would have agred to a deal like that bringing me HOPE at best while giving away PRODUCTION.

I like this for the Hawks. By giving up the pick they are showing faith that they're going to have a better season. They have high quality players at every position, especially defensively which gives you a chance to win every game. They also have a lot of flexibility at the 2 and the 3. If they could only improve their inside depth, they'll be a force to reckon with, plus you never know what TC will do.

wow all of the sudden he can score which he never did for your team?
and possible that he avg under 2 tos but also under 2 ass.
the only thing he proved till now is that he can shoot a high % but isn´t shooting so much
so the hawks get a possible good defender they already had for a younger talent and pick.

I think 17 ppg is a little bit generous.  13-14 is probably more likely.

It all depends on what Vinny does in TC.  If he ever gets to A- or better defense, he's probably a better player.  If not, I'll take Peter.
