Disappointed that none of my 3 took. Especially Griffin, who decided to turn down 3 years garaunteed money for 1 year.

Really happy to have him on a one-year deal....preserves my cap flexibility for next year - and in the meantime is exactly the kind of defensive minded rebounder I needed on my roster. He was target 1B for me.

And Nolan Friedman, target 1A, is a giant a$$. He can take his 80 loyalty, and the rookie MLE deal I gave him, and the five year offer I made to him, and shove it all up his....

I'm happy with my FA signings for the first two days.  With all 5 starters returning I was looking for big man support and young bench players to develop.

The Spurs welcome Billy Joe Kim back - giving us 3 solid PF/C veterans with B+/A- def/reb to work with Jefferson & Stocker.

Sylvester (B-/B+/B  hand/def/reb) with B potential is a solid bench player to back up the swing spots.  And Walsh is a 22 year old PG with A- def; solid numbers in limited time last year and B potential.  We'll see what a couple years of grooming behind Uner will do for him.

Mission accomplished.
