The slight changes I made a few sims ago are really starting to pay off. Currently in a position to hold down home court advantage.

PURE DISASTER !!

I wanted to see what 2 young rookies can do if i gave them some playing time and what happens ??

I GO 2-8 and slip from 1.5GB to 7GB, even worse, from #3 spot to #6.

Youngsters did well however so im not sure if that's the reason or it was just bad luck considering
i lost so many games with 1-5pts difference.

Now i have to play good this last sim to move up at least to #4 as #3 with this fiasco is gone
most likely.

And worst of all i can rest 2 players now i wanted to rest for PO's.

Summary : GOD DAMMIT !!

Very encouraged by the play of Ortiz the cheap centre I picked up. Averaging 9 rebounds in under 30 minutes. Hopefully my young guys can continue with positive strides and I can put some nice pieces around them in the offseason.

Wow. 2-4. I expected to take at least 1 game from the Hornets, but we lost all 3. I underestimated them. The games were close, but the reason behind the losses were plain to see. Adams and Berkowitz were viciously raped by the Hornets towering big men. For the 3 games they combined for a field goal percentage that I choose not to calculate out of fear of puking. Having said that, the Cavs did put up a nice win over the Raptors, although they did manage to pass in the standings along with the Celtics. This last sim will be a struggle for home court advantage in the 1st round, but there is a soft 8 game schedule so it could be had.

The retooled Bucks went 4-1.  Basically the trial run so far looks like what I was hoping for, and th elast 6 games will give more feel.

If I resign Hansen and can find a decent big with the MLE, next year's team could be back in the playoffs.

Cant say I'm a big fan of that sim for you. I was really looking forward to having the first pick in the second round  Sad Kinda hoped for fewer wins from the Spurs and Pacers as well, but them's the breaks.
Very strange sim for the Nets too....5-4 - including wins against the Heat, Grizz, Suns and Raps Shocked. Harold Morey was better than expected at the two, and I'm curious to see how he does as a PG the next sim. Kyle Macy was out for a few games, but did enjoy his most consistent sim yet. Tested Marion as a starter to see if he's "resignable"....and learned that unless its for the minimum, he's not. Got nice play - unexpected - from a few others that might even have changed my plans abit.

Really looking forward to the last sim. Will be watching and hoping for:
1) 2 more wins each from Atl and NY (than Philly) to push my 76'ers pick down a bit.
2) The Pacers to have a rough go to push my Pacers pick down abit.
3) The Spurs to slow down a little to push the pick of theirs I own down abit - actually, if they end up at 21, I'm fine with that. I much prefer to draft at the beginning of a draft segment. And of course, nothing personal fellas.
3) The Nets to do about the same - that was a nice little sim last time around. Looking for signs of life from Mason Perry at the 3 to see where he fits into next years plans, and to see how Harold Morey handles PG duties. Great handles and he's huge - it'll help me determine if he'll be a sub, a supersub or a starter at a key position. Reggie King gets a supersub role off the bench to see what he can do there.
Should be good.

fine sim, winning the first 4 games ... but losing the last one on a collective refusal of work puzzled me.

Overall, the defense against a line weaker opponents was plain ugly this sim, and only some offensive firepower saved my troups from dropping more games ... but on the other hand, Knicks and bulls always have given me fits and I beat both, so ...

Kwame fit in nicely at PF, but provided little on the other end of the floor so far, might have to find a bigger role for him next sim.

I'm stuck on the 5th seed right now, a position i do not particularly like. It would mean first a series starting on the road and - IF we win - the Hornets in round 2. Can't get much worse than that. #2 and #3 seem out of reach - barring another sim collapse from the Heat and unless I beat the Hornets twice to stay perfect in sim12 - but i have the tiebreaker over Raptors and Cavs to grab the #4 seed.

But it's all a moot point anyway, since you gotta take it as it comes.
The first goal is to stay healthy and go into the post season on a high note ...
