Dwight was back at the PF spot and did well. 35, 19 rebounds and 4 asts. but was injured the next. Darko had an impressive sim with 18 points and 7 rebounds. followed by a 8 and 15 rebounds performance. Lundy was a freaking steal. Chase was pissed being moved to the 6th man role. came up with 24 pts. Darko had a 15 rebound performance and Biedrins with 16. dominated the glass against the Jazz. Gaylor did a pretty good job too. and with dwight down, he'll get more pt.
4-3 sim with Dwight down for pretty much done the whole season shit. right?

3-4 lost against hornets and a 1pt loss against knicks. split the games with the celtics mainly because JO and Lenard simply outplayed Dirk and Marion in both games but lost one because couldn´t counter his better backups.

Celtics went 3-3 which isn't that bad actually. Tried something new with Dirk at PF, Strait at SF and Reed at PG (as Trump was injured all sim). Results were mixed, as Dirk - we know this for a long time, we just know - is not PF. Sampson is no C. And Strait can play all positions, SF and PF and C with nearly the same results, although his shotblocking and defense at SF are a nice surprise. Split with the Pacers, as mentioned, but mainly because Dirk played JO pretty good at PF, starting backup PG Reed outplayed English, and Strait topped Artest at SF. My backups (22pts) were nearly as bad as theirs (12pts). Alan Reed, who I traded Julius Smith for, led me in scoring in 4 of the 6 games ... but unfortunately I lost 3 of those 4. Not his fault though ... Overall, these are a few more pieces to my playoffs plans puzzle ... and as much as I feel sorry for the Magic it can't hurt that the only team i have a negative record against will now miss it's best player for the rest of the season.

... Lundy was a freaking steal ...
Oh yes, stupid me i didn't trade for a big man who averages less than 8ppg and 5 (!!) rpg in 24mpg ... and had a 0-13 shooting night against a guy called Royal Jackson (!!). But let's give him credit for the 2.1 blocks ...

Only a two game sim in which the Cavs defeated the new and improved Mavs and a Howard-less Magic. Next sim should be a real test with 3(!!!) games against the Hornets, and another 3 against the Raptors, Wizards, and Pacers. I'll be satisfied with 4-2. It seems like the 2nd seed is out of reach now as the Heat went 6-0, but the 3rd seed can easily be grabbed, especially after Howard's season ending injury. Just can't let the Raptors or Celtics pass me...

what kind of kristall ball are you looking in? JO had 37/13 against Dirk, you call that good? in the second game JO had 22/9 with 4 blks, in both games he shot way over 50%, scored over his season avg and held Dirk to 18 and 13pts i would call that simply outplayed... strait topped artest? how? artest didn´t play in the first game. That a guy like strait can get more rebounds than artest is pretty clear i guess. 22pts aren´t bad for backups and in a 9pts loss a 10pt difference at the backup position is the deciding factor.

3-4 sim for the lakers, and I have a feeling Laporte isn't really a Number one opition guy. What really suprises me is Ramsay exploding under inside focus, it shows me that this guy is ready to play. I enjoyed hudsons great play and hope to see ramsay and hudson continue to play this well. Ford is a bonus for his play, and Laporte can rebound. This team just needs a few tweaks and more defense, and it can be a real contender.

You can't get the 2nd seed, since it goes to a division winner ... unless the Heat and Cavs both move past the Hornets and Cavs don't move past the Heat, otherwise Cavs would be top seed and Hornets third seed with the Heat #2 ... if Cavs just pass the Heat nothing changes in the seeding format (but of course in possible home court advantage in round 2)

I you believe that Dirk, playing out of position at PF, feels bad getting 13/10/3lbk against JO (who had 22/9/4blk) then think again. This matchup decided game #2, after JO went off in game #1. A marginal differential of backup scoring is hardly ever the decicive factor in any game, accept it that your starters performance gave that game away ... but if it makes life easier for you to believe that 10pts differential on 9-21 shooting (vs your backups shooting 5-9) were the final nail in the coffin of your playoff hopes, then so shall it be ...
