Just wondering, but due to the 3-way allowed, does this mean all GM's can now do trades with multiple teams???

The situation on 3-ways has always been the same.

You can't do 3-ways.  What you can do (as they did) is break it into multiple 2-team deals.

However, since the trade originally would have worked as a 3-team deal in the real nba (since Barry never would have changed teams, thus could be combined with players) I will waive the 60-day trade rule to make it work and bypass the lmitations of the system.

So what your saying is you are willing to waive the 60 day rule in the future for these types of trades to work???  just so long as they are planned out and submitted at once???

If the intentions are clearly stated that it is a 3 way trade, then yes, since in real life the 60 day rule wouldn't have prevented the trade from happening.

But you can't acquire someone in a trade, then 3 days later try to trade him and say it was as a 3 way deal all along.

So, if you're posting a 3 way trade, post both 2-way trades in the same post, then have both teams agree to it.   Pretty much like they did.

Where they ran into problems was checking salaries combined.  I can't get by the 15% rule in the program, so all salaries need to be checked as 2 team trades.

Players can be combined with players that were just acquired because in a true 3-team deal, they wouldn't have changed teams, and thus wouldn't be subject to the 60-day rule.
