Whoa, Bods is a night hawk Smile

I have a VERY difficult schedule, and would be ok with going 2-4.

The Celtics also have a hard schedule coming in. I hope their record shows it.

Same with the Lakers.

I'm going to delay the sim until tomorrow to give WarriorsGM a chance to agree to the trade.

I don't like the idea of extending the trade deadline, it takes the realism out of it. If a gm doesn't agree by the deadline, the trade should be nixed.

I completely agree, but if it is gonna wait I think we should all still be able to make trades...  It's all up to the commish though...

On another note...  I don't know if bucks-warriors-sonics GM's checked on the trade checker, but Brent Barry for Cliff Robinson doesn't work cap-wise...

Quick question, are the rosters supposed to be updated right away after the trades are processed, or do the commishs have to manually change the XL sheet (or whatever they use)?

Nope, no more trades can be submitted.  I'll allow already submitted trades to be fixed.

It happens in real life too.  That's why some trades aren't announced until hours, even a day, after the deadline.  Sometimes teams submiit proposals that don't work, then the league gives them the options.

Sometimes, the NBA even allows trades that violate rules (art long and mark bryant for kenny thomas, art long was signed within 60 days).

I'm going to give them a chance to work it out.  The decision's final.

Also, they have until 5pm today.  No more.  Even if I don't sim at 5pm, I won't accept the modified trade if it's not submitted by 5pm.

As for the rosters BullsGM, the online rosters aren't updated until I run a simulation.

While I can understand why some people like the "realism" of a hard deadline, the fact is this isn't a profession.  If it was actually realistic I'd be talking on the phone with these people instead of sending private messages back and forth  Very Happy

It's extremely hard to have 30 people all running a team and having the same schedule.  Yesterday I was busy until about 4:30 CST and almost immediately as soon as I returned SonicsGM had to leave for the night.

Stuff like this takes the "realism" out of the league but it's also probably a necessity.

If the commish can let the deal go through, the great.  If not, then I can deal with it.

However, I'd much rather have it done!

Thanks for the patience.
