Do "same physical attributes" include strength/quickness/jumping?

No.

With that I'm talking height/weight/position.  That's it.

Bods, I understand everything you said in this entire post. But I want to ask this: did you create these players? Or do they come from some computer generated program?

They were hand-created.

Next year I may try putting in their first year stats, in which case the program can automatically generate attributes, but one problem in this is that stats back then were over-inflated based on pace and nowadayas the pace is slower.

I'd recommend looking at a younger player in real life today who is being compared to a player from the past. Kinda hard to explain but for example, say, you have to put in Glen Rice. A player who in today's game who is compared to Glen Rice is Martell Webster. I would then put in Martell Websters rookie statistics which are relatively weak, which would give the sim glen rice time to develop accordingly. Otherwise you'll just have players coming in and dominating right away, rookies from the 70's and 80's seemed to come in and dominate because of their youth and the lack of athleticism around the league.

Does this mean that you have an advantage in the draft since you created them?

Well, only 23 or so people were handcreated, and I don't figure to be drafting during that time.  But yes, I know the true values of the guys.  Well, that is, if I had the memory to remember 16 different attributes for 23 different draftees a month after creating them.

from my experience as commissioner:
I couldn't even remember which 15 guys I modificated before last draft and that happened only 2 weeks before the draft. But of course i never created players, real ones, from the scratch so far (which would make it hard not to know their ratings since you have to invent these first)

No kidding, for me it's really easy NOT to gain an advantage: First I don't really study the draft (or read YOUR previews) until shortly before the draft. Then when I export that draft file to excel and blank out the player names, the ratings i worked on are just numbers and not related to players or attributes anymore. True pot i try not to modify, if it meets certain criteria (standard deviation).

In combination with never really picking high I actually have the same information as anyone. With one big exception: if i look up real pot on request, usually right before the draft, i know that. Thats it. But again, drafting low i don't see this as a big problem.

That's the biggest problem I have.  I honestly can't remember if I gave Larry Bird equal true pot to his displayed pot, more true pot than his displayed, or less.  But the situation you described is where there's an issue.  And I really don't see any way around that.

Man this sucks.

I traded away this years pick after 3 years of horrible drafts and now there are 20 players that would have been worthy of top 5 picks in last years draft! lol

Hopefully my pick won't be worth too much...!

all of you will call me crazy but after a long research i found this draft very deep, i came up with the final list of 40 players exactly who're worth drafting, and im happy i have 2 2nd rounders which will give me 2 good or great players/projects for sure.

Why would we call you crazy? This IS a very deep draft, probably the best draft of the SSBA so far. And I have more then 40 guys. From centers alone I have 12 that are worth drafting.
