I'm still wondering what happened to my offer for him? Since i'm litlle bit thin inside i could use him. I offered him a one year deal but he's still a free agent and now Raptors signed him. I would like to have him back if possible.
p.s. Is it possible for free agent not to accept any offer and just stays a free agent?

yes, that is possible. it doesn't mean that since they got an offer, they'd re-sign with you right away.

Not right away. But to not resign at all and stay a free agent!

I haven't seen any free agent NOT take an offer during the FA period but wait to become free agent, especially when his former team wants to sign him back. That would be the worst a player could do, since he loses the bird years and won't be eligible to anything other than min/MLE/LLE contracts for years ...
So if he didn't sign during FA period he has most likely not gotten an offer. Even if you only offer a 1yr minimum deal to Brand (which would be the most stupid thing to do when you have 3+ bird years on him and risk losing him for even an LLE offer) he should have accepted.
So either you offered LLE or MLE to him which was used for someone else. Or your roster was full. Or his offer wasn't put in.

I belive i offered him a max deal over one year. Just like i did with Turkoglu, Murray and Posey.

I thought i found a possible solution, but i didn't.
I assumed that you might have had all 15 roster spots full before the Dirk/Gasol trades. But that's not possible, looking at the transaction log there is no way you had more than 12 guys on your roster at any time.
So there's no possible (logical) reason he didn't sign.

maybe you should check your offers? If it is true that you offered him a max 1 year deal he should have signed in a hurry. That is way too much for that guy

The offer was submitted. And the "max" offer was about 60k more than the min offer he took from the Raptors. I have seen players turn down offers before, especially what's essentially a minimum offer. And no, you can't have him back. He never signed with you.

Whew, I was worried there for a 2nd I would be losing him, whihc would totally suck since I got to the FA pool first and had my choice. But again, Kings, we can work something out for him. I'll take a draft pick, which you are likely just gonna get a fictional player anyway
