Alright, ever since I mistakenly sent Dirk packing, my fortunes have tumbled and tumbled, and I cannot fix it anymore. So, it's time to completely overhaul. Everybody is available...I mean everybody.
The candidates for departure:
Tanner Houbregs: 29 years old, Offensive big man - B inside C+ outside, A defense and, most importantly, 7'4''. Houbregs scored 14.7 PPG as a non-option last year while grabbing 8.3 RPG and swatting 2.5 BPG.
Jamal Sampson: Very nice 29-year old big man - B inside, A- Defense, B rebounds. Sampson played very well last season, scoring 13.2 PPG while hauling in 10.2 RPG. Sampson is signed to a very small contract (set to make just over $2 million next year), and I expect him to be the very easiest to be dealt.
Mason Mercer: Very dynamic PG who can score in bunches. With B+ Outside, Handles and Defense, Mercer, in a part-time role, still put up very nice numbers: 11.6 PPG, 4.9 APG and 3.1 RPG
Marques Baly: Offensive 7-footer who has an expiring contract. 7.2 PPG and 4.7 RPG in limited minutes. B inside, C+ outside scorer.
Kenneth Wheat: All-rookie first team PF. Wheat, who has B potential to improve, can already rebound (B rebounds) and defend (B- defense). He averaged 7.6 PPG and 6.6 RPG in only 20 minutes per game last season, while putting up nice shooting percentages.
Michael Gragg: Can you say offensive dynamo? Gragg sports a C+ inside, A outside and A- handles as a combo guard. Oh yeah, he also has kept his A potential through a pair of training camps. 13.8 PPG and 4.4 APG in his second season with great percentages.
Nicklaus English: He has never really been on the block ever since he was selected with the top pick several years ago. English is still a premier PG in the league, and was selected to the All-Star team this past season. A handles, A- outside shot, English scored 16.7 PPG while dishing 7.7 APG this season with 4.4 RPG.
All in all, everybody is available. I am not dealing for nothing, however, and I would appreciate only serious offers for these guys. They are all very talented players who just aren't working together here in Seattle.
In return, I would like to receive picks, young players, and the like. Sampson, Gragg and English are the guys that I would like to keep the most, but everybody can go for the right price, so feel free to offer if you can put something together.
