This morning my 2nd hard drive failed on my computer. Kinda sucks, because I was finishing my order (this week) of building my new computer, which would have include a raid 1 array. But whatever, great timing.
Anyway, on this hard drive (besides about 20 gigs of music and various other backups) was the backup save files. Everything from sim 1 of season 1. Gone.
So what does this mean?
First, if we ever need to output anything from previous seasons (like I did a bit ago when I put up the historical drafts), we can't. It's gone. Forever. Not too big of a problem, because end of season outputs are pretty much there for every season.
But, if today would happen to be the 2nd time we get the "unhandled exception" error FBB randomly gives you on a corrupted save. We're screwed. I make 2 backups of every sim (before and after) to make sure if a save gets corrupted we lose nothing. But now they're gone. If this sim tonight is corrupted, the league is over. At least in the form that we know it.
