Yeah, there are some features on this board I liked. I've been meaning to upgrade ...
Speaking of features, how about those PM features we had. I can live without saved box but the feature to see if a sent PM has been read is missing, and is it true we can't edit or delete sent PMs anymore before they are read (which I believe was a great feature of the SSBA board)?

Nope, those PM features are gone.  An unfortunate consequence.

Can you make PM pop up in a small window like the old one?

The more i use our messaging system the more i miss the old board.

Once you send a PM now you have NO IDEA what happens with that. Did the recipient read it, open it, leave it untouched? That's a basic feature of every league board i know.

Opinion noted.

Keep in mind, there's precisely 0% chance of moving back to the old board.

No problem with that, but there must be more to Messaging than Inbox and Outbox for sure. Message tracking and some sort of Folder structure (the Saved Messages folder form the old board was the minimum requirement anyway, but it gave you at least some chance to archive PMs) ???

Just an FYI.

Now when you go to your inbox, on the left hand side there will be a "Manage Labels" section.  This can work in a folder type environment.

First, go to manage labels, then create a label (i.e. saved).  Then go to your inbox, select the items you want to move, then on the bottom there's a dropdown titled "label selected".  Click that, then click the folder you want to "Add Label" to.

This doesn't actually move it, but it makes it accessible in that folder.  Then, immediately after that page refreshes, select the "Label Selected" dropdown again, then under remove label select inbox.

This will place the message in your folder, and remove it from your inbox.  You can have multiple folders to file pm's into.  Unfortunately there's one extra step involved in the process (moving it to a folder, THEN also having to remove it from the inbox), but there is also more control for you as well.

Still no update on the read/unread pm's.
