Up.

All-Star Weekend Results

Injuries finally caught up with me, as both Dunleavy and Battier went down at the same time.  My dream of 73 might be in jeopardy ( Wink ).  Went 4-2.

2-2 sim for the Raps with a loss to the Nets and a 1 pt loss to the Wiz.

Let it be known that my team injured Battier.

Raptors participating in All-Star Weekend:

Carmelo finishes 2nd to Barton O'Connell in the 3pt shootout.

Max, along with Carmelo, are all-stars!! Melo starts at SF and plays 33 minutes scoring 15 and grabbing 8 rebounds. Max plays 20 minutes and goes 0-1 from the field, but has 7 assists.

Celtics Pride went 2-1 with newly aquired Malcolm "in the middle" Trump getting the start at PG, as well as immortal Ronny Roof at PF.

Boy oh boy.

Trump with a healthy 29pt 16ass game (on 60% shooting) in his first game as a Celtic, carrying us to a 131-122 win in Indianapolis. Roof with 7/12 whild "holding" JO to 26/19 (on 10-21 shooting). But hey, it's JO. And I got the win behind Lenards stellar game.

Then came the whopping on behalf of the Hornets. Guess Stro loves going against Antonio. Finally a home W over Knicks with Roof outplaying Jamie Ruiz (don't worry, i haven't heard from him either). 20 steals on 8 TOs did the trick this time.

Celtics conclude the first season half with an unbelievable 32 games (11 fewer than the Wiz) ... and a surprising 23-9 record. Lenard playing at All-star level, Reed and Trump run the show, and my bigs just defend. Not a single POTW honor, even POTG is won by opponents mostly. But as long as we win, who cares ...
 Cool

Of course, the only Celtic involved in any All-star festivities are Roof and Reed attending the Rook-Soph game ...

Yeah, I might have accidentally put the wrong Al.  Bold it for the next DC and I'll make sure I get it right.

The Hornets are looking pretty good, but we need a catastrophic injury to the Nets to make up those 3.5 games... Next time Raps need to take out Okafor and maybe Pettit for good measure.

Kirilenko didn't get an all-star nod, but then he goes out and wins the slam-dunk contest Wink
