Bulls Trade
Mason Mercer Robert 'Tractor' Traylor Jeremy Palacio
Hawks Trade
Amare Stoudemire Drew Fox
I'll post my reasoning after Hawks accepts

Trading Amare is really hard to do, but Mercer is a top 5 PG in this league and he can score with the best of them. He can create for other guys on my team and gives me the great PG I've been looking for since the beginning of the SSBA. That being said Palacio and Traylor are both good role players and Palacio could be a solid offense player. I'm optimistic about this trade even though losing Amare will most likely sway most of your opinions

My reasoning:
- Fab has played great when Mercer went down, Mason was the face of the Bulls but he's become expendable.
- Palacio is a great young prospect but I have a logjam at the wing position. Now it's more clean, I have Hinkle and Fox at SF and Drew and Craw at SG
- Tractor has been good to me but he also became expendable with all my big men (Anderson, Griffin, Fleischer, Fee)
- Amare is Amare, enough said
My Dc is something like this now:
C - Andersen/Griffin/Griffin PF - Amare/Anderson/Amare SF - Hinkle/Fox/Hinkle SG - Drew/Crawford/Drew PG - Fab/Prantmair/Fab

I don't know what it is but there's something about Amare that I don't like. He's been scoring great for me but there is something I can't put my finger on about him, maybe it's because he's only been on a winning team once I believe and that was with the Wizards a few seasons back

Mike Bibby, Earl Boykins, Livingston, Ben Gordon, English, Jason Williams are all better pg's then Mercer IMO. He is a good scorer, but a bad passer for a pg and his 4tpg are just too much to be called a top 5 pg.

Well, I've always said that Mercer's scoring made up for his turnovers. Mason could easily average 24 ppg or 8.5 apg (like he's done in the past) if he's in the right situation. His defense is also pretty remarkable. I don't know if he's top 5 anymore, just because FBB churns out so many damn PG's , but he's definitely still elite

Very good PG with turnover problems vs. Very good PF with a complete game.
I'll take Amare every time. Those TO's are just a killer and kill his value as a PG IMO.
Much easier to build around Amare to me.
