Happy enough to get Holman for the LLE. He's a decent backup.

Bulls got lucky.  Blazers had a better offer on the table, but I think Haywood signed first.

Blazers were the only one with a comparable offer.

Had Blazers made their offer to Drew the day before, he'd probably be in Portland right now.

Thrilled Rubini finally signed, was getting nervous...

I kow I overpaid him, but he is a 21 year old A potential center, who is already a B+ defender...  I think he will be a starter in 2 years...

What can I say, I'm very happy (and feeling very lucky) right now.

After Drew didn't sign with anyone the first few days I knew I had a chance.

As soon as the Blazers went with Finley you chances made a huge jump. It's perfect now, they need Brendan WAY more than Drew.

But all in all you lucked out with the weakest FA period ever (in terms of available cap space) i suppose ...

I really like my depth now. This is pretty deep team now

Marcus Camby, Danny Fortson, Rasho Nesterovic
Rafeal Araujo, Danny Forston, Rafael Araujo
Chris Bosh, Hidayet Turkoglu, Tracy Mcgrady
Tracy Mcgrady, Stephon Marbury
Mike Bibby, Steph Marbury, Mike Bibby

I would need a true sg backup though, but anyway, i'm satisfied.

 Laughing

Highest of high comedy calling a squad with exactly 5 (count that, one two three four five) guys for the three backcourt spots and exactly 4 frontline people. That makes a grand total of 9 and won't even let you put a backup at every position, much less what i call DEPTH (three DIFFERENT guys playing at ONE position)

I know exactly what will happen if even one mid-lengthy injury occurs to your deep team ...

Yeah definetely, after day 2 I believe Blazers were the only ones with any capspace (7 mill)
