Nuggets agree.

Gadzuric essentially replaces Camby, and Collison gives the team the low post presence it lacked last year.  Finley is a very nice backup (I love his age and size), and Perry is not much different than Frank Williams.

I was hesitant to add Collison's contract, but I don't think cap space is going to be an issue for me in the near future anyway, so I figured it didn't much matter.

Basically, I traded three parts for three other parts, getting a whole lot younger in the process.  Collison is not on par with Camby, I'll admit, but Camby and Gadzuric were redundant, and I have a soft spot for Collison (I should've kept him last year).

It was very tough to give up on Camby, but a change was needed.  I think Collison and Finley are nice replacements for him.  We'll see if I'm right or not soon enough.

The Sonics love this trade.  With Dirk, Peja, Kundla and English shooting the three all day long, I was in dire need of a rebounder.  In addition, the interior post defense that Camby brings helps tremendously.

Camby is another player who can run the up-tempo style that I want to run.

Camby, Dirk, Peja, Kundla and English represent what I beleive is the best starting lineup in the Western Conference.

Wow good deal on both ends it looks like

Edge might go to the Sonics though who have been really busy this off season.

I like Collison, who is an upgrade over Camby offensively but not at the def end. Gadz should pick up the def lost by camby moving on.

for the Sonics a front line of Dirk,Peja and Camby is very good and now has 2 all star defensive players in Camby and Kundla, in addition to offensive weapons galore.

the nuggets have been consistant in the SSBA since it re opened 4 seasons ago, and i dont expect much fall off this up coming season they'll be top 5-6 in the west this season as well

Yeah, I agree that Gadz and Camby were redundant.  With Camby being 32, it makes sense.  And the sonics don't need ayone to shoot.

Camby, Dirk, Peja, Kundla, English.

Oh lord.  That's gotta be the best starting 5 in the league.

Great trade for both teams...
Collison is a nice low post presence, and Finley is a very good and highly underrated young center.

The Sonics get probably the best fitting center for them possible.  Camby adds shotblocking and rebounding, both which were huge areas they were lacking in previously.

If the Sonics have the right team chemistry, they are top 2 in the Western conference (the Jazz are still to team to beat with 2 championships, imo)

3 of their 5 starters aren't mainly scorers.

English is one of the better passing guys in the game, Kundla is a glue guy, and camby doesn't require shots.

IMO they have just the right balance.

We shall see...  Still a significant weakness in rebounding. Camby partially makes up for that, but not completely.  A free agent rebounder will be key for the Sonics.
And, Camby is a an older player. 33 years old, and his shooting percentage has dropped evry single year.
Both Camby and Peja are on the downsides of their career.  Sonics have a 2-3 year window at this point.

But, I do not think anyone could ever assemble a better outside shooting team then the Sonics.  Combine that shooting with 2 of the better ball handling bigs (Camby and Nowitzki)....  Wow...
If you cannot defend the three, you might as well forfeit against the Sonics   Razz

I would rather have Okafor, Sammy, Battier, Petit, Gordon for this upcoming season Wink

Can't disagree at all.  Of course, I wanted to write that, but I stayed short and wrote "best in the western conference".

Ok...The Sonics have the best Starting Lineup in the game right now.  Hopefully Free Agency doesn't change that.

If the clips don't get here in the next 4 hours, that may change.

Emeka, Sammy, Battier, Pettit and Gordon I'd take over your aforementioned 5.
