Ok, here is my reason on doing this trade. After four seasons of playoffs basketball with Dirk and never advance passed the second round. I have to do something about it. Dirk is a good player but I think he chokes in playoffs and in big games like he always does in real nba. I really need an upgrade on my center and pf position since Damp is not getting any younger. By doing this trade I got a young pf in Boykins.

I think you could have gotten ALOT more for Dirk IMO. Z is pretty old now. Great trade by the Sonics.

Adding Dirk is an unquestioned move. Zydrunas brought negativity to the team this year, and we fell from #2 in the west to a non-playoff team in a few sims after his acquisition.
Dirk also led to the acquisition of Peja, and the duo fits perfectly with Kundla and English. Let the threes reign.

Wow... Sonics just have the best outside shooting team ever seen. And with Nowitzki's C+ handle.... Just wow.
I like Boykins alot... He is the best big man to come out in any of the Drafts so far... He matches up age-wise well with Jackson, Lebron, Snyder, and Harris as well...
Makes the Sonics the team to beat in the West this year, and the Mavs will be quite deadly as well...

I love Boykins so I like it for the Mavs. But it's not bad for the Sonics as they got Peja too. Good on both parts.
