I noticed an issue in last year's free agency process I would like to discuss...
A couple teams last year waited until the deadline to submit their free agency information.  That is not an issue, but the reason they waited util the deadline was...
It appeared teams were waiting to see who came available in free agency, and deciding their own free agent decisions based upon what players hit the market.
It seems like this give an advantage to teams that delay their free agency decision.
A possibility would be to post all free agent decisions only once all teams had made up their minds...
I do not know if anyone else noticed this, or anyone even cares but me...   Just thought I would bring it up.

Delay on resignings is what I mean.

there is no real sense in it since most teams will anounce asap that they are going to resign their star player if possible.

Most teams, but not all.  Some do base their own decisions on the decisions of other teams.

And I get the feeling that may happen more this year then in year's past (considering the talent of the free agent class)

Not until all are in, no (or until the deadline comes, whichever's earliest).

Well, last year, I did notice about 3-4 GM's holding out on their decisions, waiting to see if Carmello signed...
Gives everyone the same chance, makes decisions on resigning a little harder, and does not penalize the GM's who make their decisions first.

Of course, there is nothing stopping anyone from asking about players  Very Happy

And if you wish to publicize the players you have signed, please do...  I am just hoping more players will hit the free agent market, if some of the resignings are shrouded in a bit of mystery....
