Brian Cardinal is now available in trade...

Brian Cardinal has a B- inside, and an A- outside.
Those are Michael Redd offensive abilities.

C ball handler, B- defender, and C+ rebounder (which is pretty good at the small forward position)

Last year, hit 47% from the field, and 49% from 3 pt land.

He has been in the top ten in 3 pt% for the last two years.

Anyone looking for an offensive force, whether off the bench or as a starter, this could be your lucky day.  Averages 10 ppg in 20 mpg as a non-option off my bench.

With a salary of $6.5 million, he is a bargain.

Si Senor...

What I would be looking for is not cap space. Smile
Actually, looking for a SF/SG with a little more defensive ability (I have plenty of offense on my team right now)
Or, looking for a good rebounding C/PF...

Other players can be packaged, but please try and avoid the use of names like Araujo, Stromile, Hinkle, and Hinrich when talking about a Brian Cardinal trade.  Smile

Well, I only have 4 people under roster.  None of them would be available without Araujo, Stromile, Hinkle or Hinrich being talked about Smile

But it's something to keep in mind after FA.

Yes, I did notice your roster...

Right now, Nets has by far the best roster in the league, when you average the players skills...
Of course, with only 4 players under contract, practice consists apparently of two on two drills  Cool

Although watching Sammy and Chauncey go at Emeka and Pettit must be quite fun to watch Wink

Could we do a sim on this ... or even some wagers ? I'd give a 2nd rounder to see that for sure ...

You can't put pettit and emeka on the same team.  That would just be unfair.

Unless, of course, there are fouls counted in this.  in which case it would be hack-a-emeka time.

Figured you would want the franchise guys working on their chemistry...
And since Sammy shoots the same percentage as Emeka...   Wink
No real advantage.
Plus, Billups has all the veteran "savvy"

Bump...
Training camp improved Brian Cardinal a bit.  He gained a level in ball handling and a level in defense.
Great offensive punch for a team needing some offense from the SF and PF spots.

Basically looking for some youth at the SG and particularly the SF position with a trade of Brian Cardinal.

I have a feeling Cardinal woudl be a not very good defender at the SG spot...
But, we could also talk Bellamy as a PG/SG back-up, if the right deal was offered...
