This makes 0 sense for the Kings, IMO.

Was this deal contingent on another one involving the Rockets?  I agree this makes very little sense for the Rockets, will Tmac play the 3 now?

These are very unfortunate things happening here. I had accepted this trade on behalf of the Kings but this was supposed to be just the first part of something ...

... but all other parties involved didn't show up.

The only reason this deal has been accepted is a confirmation PM from the KingsGM to the PistonsGM (like to the other parties). Too bad just this trade was actually posted !!!

I don't understand what you are talking about, as clearly the Kings accpeted and posted in this thread.

That sort of sucks, so basically this was one part of a multiplayer deal?   I think KingsGM could have made this deal into a multi-team trade (in one thread) to prevent this, or said that he was only going to except this trade if the other ones went down as well

Well, I can hardly accept a Kings trade using the CelticsGM credentials.

And I know for sure that someone is REALLY going to be pissed off tonight for how all that trading stuff turned out ...

Well, if I were the Kings I'd be pissed...he has no front court to speak of now.

Oh boy, this will get ugly when Kings gets back.

Quite simply, someone should have made it clear (via confirmation PM) that this was a multi team trade, it shouldn't have been posted/accepted other wise

That's why I had waited until literally the last second. The confirmation from the third team was missing (and still is). Actually the PMs are still unread and waiting in the outbox to be delivered ...

If that was the case, Pistons shouldn't have posted it, or even if he did, the deal shouldn't have been accepted.

I believe its not written in stone that once a deal is posted it is official, thats why both parties have to agree first.  If something as important as a 3rd team not confirming with a trade happens, then I think you wouldn't have to accept.  Well, whats done is done

I'm still very confused here.

Did the Kings not come online and accept this trade?

So why is the CelticsGM talking like he accepted it?

I think the Celtics logged on as KingsGM, with his permission, to accept this trade.  I'm guessing Kings knew he couldnt make it for the deadline, so he got Celts to accept any trade that was posted

You're slow, aren't you?

Because CelticsGM did log on and accept it.
