Two years in a row...Aaron Williams signs for 7 million to drop 3.1 PPG.

I'd like to stumble into that kind of money!

Hey, I just did it to have a large expiring contract.

No reason not to use bird rights.

Wagner just signed for 5.4 million and might never get off the bench.

I completely understand...that's why I gave Caron Butler a $5 million deal.

Needed another scoring threat to come off the bench. Minard brings that. Nice handles too, and cheap.

Can't go wrong.

How the hell is Minard terrible?  He's probably the best player signed under a 1 mill contract.  He shoots horrible %'s but his averages are 9/4/3 with 1.2 SPG

that's only cause i was tanking the last season and he played ALOT of minutes. but ok, if 8ppg in 30mpg you call a scoring threat along 39% from the field and 24% from the 3 point range, so be it...

I agree with Kings, Minard's nothing even remotely special.  Scoring is his "Specialty", but his percentages (39%, 24%, 69% ft) make him probably the most inefficient 9 ppg scorer in the league.

Then, to top it off, he's a bad defender.

Maybe going back to the bench he can regain some form of efficiency, and at least help you on one end of the court, but he has to do better than last year.

LOL He was 500K. I wanted some scoring off the bench, so I signed him. Nothing to get too worked up about.

Exactly, like I said he's not terrible for the price he was signed for.
