My friends, don't worry, I'm fine, health-wise. I had the flu and got over it quickly.
(and so is my daughter, no problems there as well for the past 2 weeks)

but ...


I kind of fell into a pre-Christmas hole mentally, trying to get away from the PC (and especially sim leagues) a little bit.
(and it got to a point I AVOIDED showing up here, I can't even explain why)

Anyway, don't want to bother you with my personal problems too much, just ask you for one thing:

PLEASE GIVE ME A LITTLE MORE TIME

In a year up downs and ups and more downs this is a tougher time than I expected, but I really don't want to give up on (my) SSBA (activities) after so much time devoting to this league in the past 5 years. We've gone through good times and bad times here, so this shouldn't break the league (hopefully)

For now, enjoy the next week, it's not the worst time of the year
 

I can't even predict when the next sim will happen right now, tomorrow, over the weekend, before christmas, because year end got me at fully swing in office, evenings are filled with meeting friends or having kids prepare for christmas, or making presents myself. So once again, STAY TUNED, and I will be back.

The Christomas season is hectic for everyone. Rather than rushing you back into simming, why don't we all agree to just resume again AFTER the holidays? I'm sure over the next week or two, activity is going to be minimal for everyone anyway.

I m not underestimating the power of this league to withstand its own despite little activity for the holidays and all, I just think an extended hold-up without a definite time would be detrimental to the league considering that the last sim was like around Dec. 2.

Just a suggestion but maybe we can have an interim simmer just to keep the league going after the holidays and let tom be the commish once he feels like running the league again. I know its been a hell lot of things happening for Tom this 2009, I think he deserves a break for a while.

FYI - in my other league Tom indicated he would be more than willing to give the sav file to someone who wants to fill in for the time being until his life straightens itself out. So if you were curious, I would contact him.
