Congratulations to Kostelic for winning the overall World Cup and the Slalom World Cup (and only the 2nd giant slalom in her career today). A truly dominant season towards the end after the mediocre Olympic showing. Her consistency to finish almost every race clearly put her on top of the overall rankings.

But Ivan, don't believe anything the croatian media reports, they might be a little bit biased. Today Anja did have to take just enough risk to finish ahead of Rienda-Contreras to win the Giant Slalom World Cup (which she did). Congratulations to her too, as well as to Michi Dorfmeister, winner of the Downhill AND Super-G World Cup (and Olympic champ in both events), who raced the final race of her career today. She finished third in the overall World Cup standings and is a true champion, as well as former Overall World Cup winner herself ...

Hey, i never said she's not a great one. But please leave the greatest ever talks for now, there were female skiers winning 6 overall World Cups and 50+, even 60+ races. Way to go there ...

she-ll do that if she stay healthy, she would have had 2 more titles and 15 more wins for sure if she didnt lose 2 and half years injured and she is still just 24..........Senna didnt win most races as well or champs -cause he died very young, but we all know he is the best of all times, records are not everything, just like if Senna hadnt died he would race for another 8-10 years, win few more champs, many races, and nobody would talk about Schumacher now.

A paragraph with too many "woulds" and "coulds" and "hadn'ts" is quite funny.

No she wouldn't hav had 2 more titles when healty, you need more than an injury-free season for that (see last season when she finished 2nd without any injuries)

And no, she didn't miss 2.5 seasons but only 1.5 seasons (in fact she missed parts of 2001/02 season and the complete 2003/04 season)
